So if I understand correctly it is allowed to enter this car (F40) but it has no additional power upgrades.

It has been a very long time since I tuned something so please put me on the maybe list as a tuner.

@CSLACR Is it possible to explain a bit more of how to enter tunes? Has it to be done by PM , Database or posted in here?

The F40 is good to go, it's just a psychopath, I have a spec for it, I'll throw it up there, sure. 👍

@Ridox2JZGTE - Countach? Also has a spec. I'll try it again and see if I can find a spec I like. 👍 That's my first bedroom poster car there sir. :) Desperately wanted to add it, but it wasn't keeping up. :/

To enter a tune, you just post it in here or you can link it from another page if you're lazy. :P

Does anyone believe that aero kits affect performance? (Outside of extremely minor differences from the measly 020 aero wings have to offer, that is)
I'm debating just banning it/making it mandatory.(car by car would be most likely).

Clueless rule car #2 ;)
Quite a few almost-made-its laying around. 19, to be exact. (Had 41 tester cars)

I haven't seen any clear evidence either way in the case of aero kits, I've never noticed a tangible change but I would be hesitant to test a car without if it was spec'd with one just because I'm unsure of the potential effects.
Wings can definitely change things though, whether this is a positive or negative effect is entirely down to the car and the track 👍

Yes aero kits affect the car the rear wings create a noticeable amount of drag and induce understeer in the cars.
Front kits do generate a small amount of frontal downforce but not much.

I don't mind if it's not keeping up a little bit :) The car is just too sexy :P

Nothing that changes the power, weight, or PP of a listed vehicle.
Just a thought but you might want to add weight distribution to that list as well...cause I could put some windows and carbon hood on the car and slap the 10-20 kg in the the car not change the PP and get a little better distro for stability.

Any reason why transmission tuning is prohibited?
Because I hate the sound of gear whine. And I love the sound of engines. :)
Especially Italian and American ones.

I had it listed as "Weight is stock for all", I added "(no weight reductions or ballast)" now. 👍

I think it's reasonably clear by now there's a set build on cars, although I'm not sure of a term besides "build", which is very different from a tune. The "build" is set. Build meaning power parts, stock weight and transmission.

@CSLACR
For the record the net total cost of all the cars if you have none is 7,681,570 for them all.

Mandatory parts cost 54,500 per car total of 1,308,000 for mandatory parts.

Total mandatory costs for participation *assuming one of each car is tuned* 8,989,570 cr.
I guess there won't be many people who don't like supercars entering then. (but we already got one :) )

I'm curious to hear how much of a gap you guys are finding between the faster and slower cars of the field?

Base testing on 1/3 of the cars done, already seeing a trend on the lap times. Clear standouts one both sides of the time spectrum.

@CSLACR is this going to be a 5 lap average challenge or the normal Hot lap style challenge? Cause that will affect which cars get picked and how they are tuned for me anyways.

So far forward it's 1.1 seconds Reverse it's 2.3 seconds combined 3.2 seconds.

Haven't tested many but out of the three I tried so far there was more than 1 second.
trust more in Lambo
Go for it my friend , if you can tame it.

Wow , that's a lot more dedication than I've put :dunce:, it's too bad your favorite weapon has been taken away , can't wait to see what your going to come up with, I might just try the same trick as the last competition and tie a cable to your rear 👍 to be pulled on the podium.

Well, I've got the 3 main Ferraris and Gallardo all within 0.400 with the allowed specs all still running default settings. I'll be trying the rest over the next couple of days to see how they compare too.

 Gotta run, should really be working right now...that @TurnLeft's a bad influence. :sly:

Oh yeah, gotta watch out for @TurnLeft :D He's a rascal ;)

Resistance is futile, Your tuning style and distinctiveness will be added to my own. You will be assimilated.

What about AC,TC,ASM,ABS and SRF? I use a DS3 and was just wondering what the parameter's are?. :D

I suppose whatever works best for the tester to put laps down.

I'm surprised to hear it grew like that on Reverse.

As for the shootout, I guess you're seeing why I like the idea of one that involves more than a single good lap. ;)
Currently set to just run for best laps each direction though, saving the "track day" shootout for another day I guess.
