You mean while he was distracted ....I can't take all the credit. I stole it from @TurnLeft when he wasn't looking.
You say potato, I say... no wait that doesn't work in printYou mean while he was distracted ....
Well you are old enough to have seen that's cars launch and remembered it.Yeah, while I was taking this picture View attachment 331616.
No no it doesn't. You could Al Gore it.You say potato, I say... no wait that doesn't work in print

You say Potatoe, I say potato.
Or you could just, you know... just..um...tune a couple of them? (might save some time)
Your not wrong. I have five cars on my final short list. Each has a different positive attribute and I can't decide which to finalise. I have a feeling this competition is going to be close when testing begins.Choices choices choices. @CSLACR you have made it hard to pick one!
Aston, Ferrari, Audi, all are good and fast. but the question is do I go a tad loose to get it faster or a tad tight to get it stable and more fun for more people....
I thought I did then I tried a couple more cars and yeah now I have three that I'm tossing in betweenI have my weapon of choice, just need to double check the tune maybe tomorrow. Honestly didn't try too many and the one I really wanted was not as good as I had hoped.
Hope they get it fixed soon!Good pre-empting by @CSLACR, if the cars had custom trannies then there would be a bunch of grumpy tuners right now
Is that bug for real?Good pre-empting by @CSLACR, if the cars had custom trannies then there would be a bunch of grumpy tuners right now
Not downloaded the update yet so I can't say first hand but by the amount of whining going on I must assume it is realIs that bug for real?
Unfortunately, yes. If you use a car that's had the final gear changed it will reset to the original as soon as you enter a track and hit the road. Did it twice to make sure . So when are you guys putting it out for us to admire ?Is that bug for real?
Not had much time recently so I probably won't post until closer to the deadlineUnfortunately, yes. If you use a car that's had the final gear changed it will reset to the original as soon as you enter a track and hit the road. Did it twice to make sure . So when are you guys putting it out for us to admire ?
Well that's a lucky dodge ain't it?Unfortunately, yes. If you use a car that's had the final gear changed it will reset to the original as soon as you enter a track and hit the road. Did it twice to make sure . So when are you guys putting it out for us to admire ?
They use breaks for cigarette's and lunch. So that's what drifters use the breaks for
Now if I can just resolve this mid-high speed understeer I'll have a solid tune for my car....
The bowtie's are all totally capable here.I have my weapon of choice, just need to double check the tune maybe tomorrow. Honestly didn't try too many and the one I really wanted was not as good as I had hoped.
I've been looking into it, and it might. As long as you use the same weather for all your laps, it won't matter.Hope they get it fixed soon!
My shortlist is getting shorter.đź‘Ť I`m down to 3 cars now. 2 green and 1 black.
If anyone`s having trouble seeing the apexs covered in shadows at midfield. Then 25% weather gets rid of the worst of them and 50% gets rid completely. Anyone know if this affects laptimes?
Gotta love auto incorrect. And you're the first person to have noticed the typo...They use breaks for cigarette's and lunch.
Brakes could help induce a drift though.
I would prefer to see some numbers if I'm honest, just to be sure. The mechanics for passive change due to conditions are in game and will have an effect, how much of an effect I don't know but if you have a car that is on the grip limit during perfect conditions and there is even a 5% grip reduction then it could quickly go from "barely contained fury" to "eventually I stopped spinning and then it caught fire".Gotta love auto incorrect. And you're the first person to have noticed the typo...
As for weather I made the same rec in the STI vs EVO challenge for willow to clear the glare. I didn't see a lap time reduction in anyway. I didn't notice any need to change the tune for a slicker surface either. Something else I did was change the time to high noon to raise the ambient temperature to recover any lost track temp due to the clouds.
@brian wolf see above.
Very very true sir. I'm not consistent enough at Midfield to do any tests for this.I would prefer to see some numbers if I'm honest, just to be sure.
