Scoring will be consisted of 4 parts
Forward lap(avg)
Reverse lap(avg)
Average lap(forward and reverse combined and divided by 2)
X
(DC) Drivers Choice

1st: 40
2nd:39
3rd: 38
4th: 37
5th: 36
6th: 35
7th: 34
8th: 33
9th: 32
etc

Multiplied by average drivers choice score
FL bonus point
DC favorite bonus point
Most points = Winning

Tie breaker is DC, followed by fastest average,(combo) followed by fastest lap.

Honestly, in the end it only matters what the testers can get. Some testers May be faster and some slower, so you can't totally judge. Sometimes @DolHaus is faster than me but usually close, but not all testers can het the same times.

It might also be the colour, it is purple and thats got to be worth at least 0.4

Tuned or stock?
I was running 1:12 F 1:14 R stock/spec in the cars but I also wasn't lighting up the tires.
Tuned
I can definatelty get a bit more out of the car on the reverse route as I'm not overly familiar with the course and the laps are still fairly scrappy

Tell me how far off I am......1:10.949 Forward, 1:12.98 Reverse. This is DS3 , m/t
I was trying out the cars on stock set-ups and getting low to mid 1:11s forwards with the 10 I fancied trying....except the Aston, that thing is a beast  doing high 12s low 13s in that.👍 Just about to go try them backwards and try and make my pick.:)

1:09.7 F / 1:12.0 R
Nice times mate 👍 The force is strong with this one .

That's @Brewguy44's secret is it? 💡 How much do you think Violet's worth?

Yeah, it's fine! @TurnLeft ain't testing this one :P You've got nothing to worry about :D Well I don't think so. I've not tried your car yet ;)

Now for the serious bit.

In case of a tie, as the average position is being used for scoring. In your example, with 3rd and 7th being 5th. if tied with someone who was 5th twice, who takes the 5th place. the consistent one or the one who placed higher in one. :) Not criticizing, I like the scoring system.👍 Just wondered?

Edit: Sorry, spotted a typo:rolleyes:

I've been wondering the same thing.
I'll either use FL as a tiebreaker, or change it to avg time for position. I think in any case I need a tiebreaker though.

That is just wrong:yuck:

Often see a small block Chevy V8 dropped into Miatas. Have a customer with a '49 Ford but he put a 350 Chevy in it. More power and easier to work on. But, for those offended Ford fans, he also owns a Boss 302.

And stupid question, where do you get Moulin Rouge?
Moulin Rouge is a Plymouth color, Superbird is cheapest.

How about a '55 Chevy with a Hemi? (YouTube Roadkill) :P

Fun fact, during my F40 testing I started on reverse, took a break and finished on forward. Then I set best lap on reverse again, I had to go back and check if TC was off because it felt that nice to me and my slower driving. 1:14.7 forward 1:15.4 reverse.

I haven't driven the F40 in a few updates, might have to dust it off and give it a spin 👍
Based on stats I think that car could be devastating if you get it right

Blasphemy I say, pure blasphemy :yuck:
That is the nickname they gave it IIRC.

IF, yeah, I had a hard time getting on the throttle on forward version, but its fun to try and control.

Mid-Field is deceptive and tricky. Anyone thinking it's "easy" can be quite mistaken.
Besides a few laps on the forward version just to finalize the F40, I have spent most of my time on the reverse layout and I find it to be relatively easy, just there are 3 tricky spots. For example, forgetting to brake before the knoll in a 600PP McLaren MP4-12C and learning how to fly, into the wall.

I've added these that help quite a bit safecar.jpg, the downfall is that sometimes you bounce back in the wrong direction .
