I plan to better both my Astra and RX-7 time. That's why there's no splits on them yet. It's NOT because I'm lazy, Sjaak.

If I'm not sending a time in this week, I'm toast. I love GT4's version of Midfield - the change to the two sweeper-combos (before T1 and before the finish) made this medium-fun track into a short-yet-challenging track. The last corners are now smooth and easy, and the first corners became a nightmare (in a good way) to navigate as quickly as possible... And the changes to the first left-left combo are also pretty good.

So yeah: One Xanavi HIROTO Skyline coming up!

New Class-record?

I noticed the XJ220's slippy behaviour on Fuji, too - it started wild drifts on that tough right-hand sweeper whenver I touched the brakes.

And, a time with the Xanavi:

I can see another second or so coming from me, if I manage to hit the T1-T2 complex really well, and the last hairpin. Kinda botched it, so I'm back on the track.

EDIT: Can't improve it right now. Out goes the Abt Audi. Already seen 0'38 T2s - very promising.

Abt Audi TT-r Touring Car '02: 1'02.852 (R5). Splits will come soon.
It's just so much grippier than the Skyline. It doesn't loose grip in 2nd, while the Xanavi looses it sometimes in 3rd. Also sounds better...

And another car:

Nissan Xanavi Nismo GT-R JGTC: 0'19.294 / 0'38.243 / 1'01.630 (R5)
Great car. A combination of somehow grippier tires (they don't totally freak out in 2nd) and that extra handling that comes with it enables it to corner like the Audi, yet speed ahead due to the increased power. The engine is something I'd change - Redline on the 6000RPM already? Splits are from a very close lap that followed - the cars were neck-to-neck with each other through the splits. Exact splits will follow.

Ran the RX-8 LM down to a 1'01.495, yet I have this strange feeling that this is just the tip of the iceberg. Feels like this car could manage a flat-minute, perhaps even less. And doing this while sounding so good is twice as cool 👍

Which makes me ask... On a lot of cars, but specifically FRs, I've noticed a whizzing sound when on power. It sounds like something spinning, and it gets higher as you go faster, but what is it? It also turns off below 10Km/h for most of those cars... Could be some driveshaft-sound?

That turn to T2,hitting the gas and ride the rumbles on the other side knowing it was a good turn,gives me always the most satisfaction.
