Hey everyone. Got the game since a week and i really like it so far. anyhow, is anyone interested for an online cruise. Like in the old TDU days, we'd meet up somewhere and take our cars for a nice cruise up the mountains and then maybe onto the 405?

And legendary724 at some stage. I just won my first car, the fantastic Camaro. It is black with some neat rims, raised behind, fatter rear wheels, a legend numberplate, super charger thing, and flame vinyls. Looks quite mad. Ill show you guys when I cruise with you.

You guys need to see my new Challenger. Dragonistic and I were cruising around in them last night, had some fun on the Freeways. I reckon that everyone should get a Muscle car, then we can have some fun. Or like, everyone getting the same car.

He has a nippy little golf aswell, it goes damn fast...dont worry he still likes his little cars.

Sounds like we shall own the streets in our 69 camaro's.

I would suggest just sticking to races that have something to do with the main characters (Booke, Annie, Karol) and a few others (Andrew, Gin, Nikolai). These ones usually get you further along.

Is LA really that good? I have MC3, but I never really found that all fun, thanks to the fact that you don't need brakes. Oh, and is there just strictly city environments?

It's mainly city. There's only a beach on one side, and some mountain roads on the north near it. Everything else is a pretty big city. But, you do need to use the brakes in this game.

Not really, I don't use brakes at all in races unless it's over a 90 degree corner.

Hopefully with the free update coming next year (which will add a rather large 1/3 extra on the original map) will have more varied terrain. But it has to be based on real LA so it might be even more city!

I think it would be way better if we could all cruise together, lot more fun seeing as the game allows for so many people in one go. If the EURO/UK guys raced in the morning (10AM) it would be evening in ASIA/AUS (9PM)... yes theres a massive 11 hours time difference but hey ho!

The wagers are a good source of cash, however the further you progress the bigger the payout for each race gets, so I suggest progressing before going purely for money (ironically if you basically finish the game you never need to save money which overall saves time).
