No I wouldn't have told you. You were playing some other game. Any time i ask you you never show up. So there. :)

Yes...omg, I was saying IF IM ONLINE, not when im playing midnight club la. And I JUST said that I definately would have joined...

I won my Camaro DUB back. Also wasn't having much luck in DUB tournies with Z06 so got a Ninja, damn that thing is fast.:scared: With no more DUB cars in the showroom that I haven't already got I assume I've won them all, come on million dollar deal......

And Turbo Lag, when it comes to cruises you need anger management. I think I have $500k already now. I've got $450k worth in just 2 cars in my garage, let alone the others. Since I haven't done anything special to them I got no problem in selling them when the deal comes up.

It wasn't a proper meet up, it was just me bringing some friends from Midnight Club 3 (2 were ex members of the clan i lead) into an msn conversation with turbo.

Good job, the Ninja is leagues ahead of everything else on the game, it grows tiresome seeing Ninjas online everywhere. Also, you can save up to 3 vinyl sets if you have anything you want to keep on an expensive car, but it appears you don't.

I feel as if using bikes in the game is cheating a little bit. Still, I had no compunction over using a Ducati 996 to win back my RX-8 in a pink slip race last night!

I agree, online really it is basically cheating. I only use a bike online when there's 3-4 others in the room racing, although not trying to sound cocky, but half the people on LA can't control what they ride/drive. The R8 is a pretty good racer I've realised to, it's useless acceleration let's it down, but it has great stability and cornering.

Ladies and gentlemen, may I present (photoes courtesy of Dragonistic) The Lion's Den GNX. The photoes appear to have come out a little bright (especially the red is darker in game) and pixellated, but oh well.

There is also little GNX name plates on the hood and that is a Lion on the boot if you can't tell.;)

Edit: Why doesn't the online social club ever update?:grumpy: My profile is now a couple days old. I also can't upload any pictures, it always tells me that the MC LA servers are currently not avaible. Oh, and I just unlocked the race that will unlock the million dollar deal, so I should be filling up my garage pretty soon.:D

So I ended up getting the Cobalt SS, now on to trying to win more money. I'm still not really getting much, maybe $700 a race. I got to be missing something, with MC3 it was pretty easy to get a ton of money in a short amount of time.

go for your main objectives, ignore everything else. It takes a while to rack up cash.

Ya I'm having a hard time with it though, the Cobalt just isn't fast enough to keep up with some of the other cars. I have $20,000-ish saved back up but I only have three performance parts unlocked.

So Dragonistic, just what is the extent of your past involvement in MC games? You were saying 3 time world record holder? Anything else?

I suck enough on the bikes to not make it cheating.

You should have kept the Camaro. That got me all the way to the tournament for the Camaro DUB edition. I think it's rep that unlocks the parts. You could probably try out a bike. Look at the color of the dots to see the difficulty of the races. In the main career races, the opponents don't upgrade to match you.

I watching right now:D.

EDIT: You drift every game on the planet...also what do you use to record?

I spent most of my time drifting and cruising, my phase of ordered racing got me those records using my drifting to get me there (it was the quickest way on 3, no longer however). I also ran a medium sized drift club for a few months which seems to be renowned as one of the best (top 3) drift clubs on mc3 (ps2) to date. I was playing for roughly 3 years in total, my first MC game was 3 and I purchased the 'remix' of that on release to get the extra city (my disc was on it's way out anyway).

However LA is very different in physics, and traffic was never online before, but I still have an advantage over most knowing some of the little tricks of the trade.

He's a really, really, popular guy and drifter on MC3. Or was now

Check out his YT Channel, look at those MC3 videos and you'll see what I mean.

You'd be surprised, I went back online with a friend the other day and I struggled NOT to get noticed, I hadn't been on since spring time and my club was long gone, yet people still asked for tryouts and friends requests as if I'd never left.

Just a webcam, at the moment I have no editing or capturing software, so no more videos for a while now.

Sounds like me on TDU now  If ever I go back on, people know me.

^^, you can't be that popular...no not the turbo I know:lol:.

Dragonistic: So you somehow get high quality as an option just by using a webcam, even if I press high quality it isnt that great but It was definitely good.

You should see my '09 Camaro now.:dopey: Just about to unlock the million dollar deal too, so my car collection is right on the verge of expanding.:D So far I already have the shown GNX, a Z06 and my new Camaro, all TLD themed. Although I do have a Kwaka too, which is black with green accenting, I love green Kwakas.:dopey: You know what they say, 🤬 the rest, Kwaka's the best!

I am now officially at 20%!!! Which is rather bad lol...

I have an eclipse, (an eclipse after I beat the time trial, yes another eclipse), A ford focus 04, some crappy datsun and my 69 camaro.

I managed to get the Cobalt running right with the unlocking of more parts. I beat the Eclipse time trial as well and used the winnings plus the trade in value of the car to get a Buick GNX so I could do those muscle car races.

After test driving and now having the GNX in my garage I've come to the conclusion the muscle cars suck, it's like driving a boat. I think I'll pass on getting any more of these and just stick with the tuner cars.

Then you aint driving them right.:P

How would you drive them? They are slow, have poor handling, and just suck. At least they are true to form though. I can not stand old American cars in the slightest, in games or in real life. If this was a game about drag racing then sure they would be great, but trying to weave through traffic and take 90 degree corners is not something that inspires me to think old American muscle car.

At least the group 3 muscle car are slightly more modern, although I will only buy one if I have to complete something that needs them.

^^ You are wrong, utterly wrong. They are slow, uh no, they are incredibly fast. They suck at handling, yeah I will agree to a certain point, accel off, turn, acell out. Rather simple, and you do get a little drift along the way. The only muscle I have so far is the camaro but it is damn good.

This is an arcade game so the muscle cars aren't exactly like they are in real life. What they don't have in handling they more than make up in power. Try driving the luxury cars, you'll see what bad handling is. I found that the muscle cars weren't all that bad handling and the weight transfer really helped out for a lot of the turns. I barely used the tuner cars except for the Scirocco, since they seemed to be lacking in acceleration and speed.

Meh the muscle cars are close enough to real life and they suck in the game. MC focuses so much on cornering that trying to use a muscle car for anything is worthless. The tuners seems so much better, mainly because they can take a corner without sliding all over the place and losing massive amounts of speed.

I don't have an luxury cars yet as I don't really see a point with those either.

Muscle cars are my favourite. They handle brilliantly IMO, but I think the problem is that most people aren't using a wheel. Last night I tried with the controller, it was honestly rubbish.

It's easy, brake and turn in, power slide out, being MC if you can get power sliding right it's still quite fast. However most corners don't even require you to brake. Aside from all that, you chose the GNX which is the worst handling one in the game, try one of the Camaros or the Corvette or Mustangs.
