Maybe cockpit view is the problem. I'm using the 'action' cam all the time.

I swap between classic and cockpit depending on my mood, it's nice to see my car sometimes. Also I find spotting traffic at night actually easier, because of the lights.

I finding that the game is getting hard and harder now. I'm at the point where all the races I extremely outclassed by everything I'm racing. I mean in the race to win the DUB Challenger I have to go up against a Ford GT, like I'm going to be able to beat that with an Evo. This is what I'm finding difficult about the game and it's annoying to race one race 5 or 6 times just in order to win.

I really just want to get to the end so I can start customising cars and doing online cruises with some of my friends who I have conned into getting the game as well. I keep looking for a NA game save out on the net but the couple I've found had viruses attached so they got eaten by my anti-virus software.

What? I easily beat Saleens, Lambos, etc. in my Camaro DUB. They're not too fast really, they'll take off at the start but with a good use of "Roar" and some bashing of AI, you'll own them.

I'd have to catch them first in order to use an ability. I don't know it seems like I can hit every corner right and take every short cut and they will still beat me.

Well are you doing the burnout start? At the very start when you take off, I sometimes block the AI from moving ahead. If not, slipstreme and get a turbo boost or whatever. I don't know why it's so hard unless our games are different or something.

Yup, I do the burnout at the start and let got slightly before GO in order to get a jump. Maybe I'm just not good at the game, like I said I need to find a game save.

Last time I checked game saves didn't work. Not sure, but good luck finding one.

Some people found the bikes did the trick for the DUB tournaments. However the strategy that worked for me for the last three tournaments was to use the starter car, Scirocco in my case, with no mods except for "stage 3" nitrous. Since the cars are slow it's easier to get everything perfect or follow the opponents and then use nitrous to beat them. The reason it's difficult is because it's supposed to be. The DUB tournaments are probably the most difficult part of the career.

I present you with my coppah kar. Cost me nothing with the trade in of a FREE eclipse.

Side - A symbol, police, and a little 801 number indicating the car number:

The pictures are linked as they are massive, the whole car is kinda wide, 15k and is the Chevrolet impala ss.

Your car really, really does suck. It took me about 2 hours just to get a side right and I'm still not done 100% with it.

You were rushing me you little. It was really frustrating having hurry up pop up every 2 seconds.

Is that on rate my ride yet? I was just mucking around with mine so I'm probably finished with it.

The customization is slightly a bit much, but it's still pretty subtle and easy to make something your's.👍

There's quite a lot of customization, it's quite easy to create a ricer but there are some really, really nice mods in the mix too. Good blend though. 👍

Im getting to grips with the customisation now (like vinyls and stuff) and its a lot of fun, you could waste forever in that mode. Problem is if the game freezes (which it did once with me) I lost all my cutstomisation progress... a warning, exiting the vinyl editor DOES NOT save your vinyls... you have to exit the garage fully to save everything so I suggest you do that once it a while to ensure you dont loose any progress.

Oh and would love to play some CTF and that demoltion derby style mode thingy online!

Robin.

Pay a friend or something with CASH and then they can put money on your PSN for you:).

I don't know anyone with a PS3 and online capabilities. One guy has a PS3 but no online. Even if they did, they'd be in the same boat as me, no way of paying without getting a credit card and then giving out the number over an internet connection.

Edit: None of my social club details have been updated in 3 days, getting very annoyed now.

You know, I get the feeling my Z06 would be twice as fast if it didn't always select a gear 2 gears too high, even when doing burnouts. Some other cars do this as well, but others (like the Solstice) normally select gears fine. Why also do muscle cars get stuck with their crappy 4spds even with upgraded gearboxes? And why can't I upload my photos?! Always the same "Servers are not available at this time" message.

Hi guys, I'm a new comer to MCLA. :) I would like to ask something about the statistics on the social club.. as it doesn't update to my recent stat.. :ouch:

hmm.. I usually play the game offline, but shouldn't my stat gets updated when I go online? :dunce:

I still think MODNAR has the best cop car for now, he only ever drives cop cars of various sorts, so you're gonna struggle to beat the amount of work he puts into them.
