Actually TJ it is 1.1. The installer backdates you're MC and saves it into a separate folder that Technic/Tekkit runs off.

The issue here is that Tekkit, no matter what I do, I cannot get to run. The installer must have stuffed up. So until I get it to work, or things to back to survival, you won't see me.

Dosn't mean you can run rampant on Dunc though.

^ XD Oh so I did :P

Dunc, which version of Tekkit do you have installed? Me thinks you have an older version, the recommended build has an outdated Forge build according to MC, so make sure 3.0.3 is installed.

EDIT: Scratch that. Blonde moment. I didn't realise you CAN SCROLL UP THE LIST OF BUILDS....

Is it possible to roll back the server to before where I didn't delete my inventory and the entire chest? It was all a big, stupid mistake.

Never mind that..

^ It's OK Ryou, not your fault. That's what comes with mods, is glitches

Rhys, when you get on the server check your chest. See if you can remember what was in there. I spawned some stuff for Ryou to put in there to compensate, but if anything's missing let me know. No worries at all. Just a server glitch deleted Ryou's, and the chests items because his name was on he chest it claimed it as his inventory.

I'm looking into the bug and trying to see for a fix. I think it might have somethign to do with the plugins on the server.

Not to worry, these thigns happen :)

I'm sure you'll all be pleased to hear I started my quarry, have plenty of items, and my business will soon be rolling in the dough. :sly:

Mine still refuses to download :grumpy:

EDIT: What skilla said about business reminded me, do I still have my 11,000 credits?

I know Technic is 1.1
Tekkit is 1.2.5

Both are pretty much the same just technic has a few more things but tekkit runs smoother.

Yes there are 2 different ones, Technic servers are 1.1 and everyone needs everything for that and Tekkit servers are 1.2.5.

You mean the 11'000 credits you recieved from spending countless hours in a dungeon, and then refusing to say where it was when other members asked so things could be fair, and kept it for yourself. Yep, you've got them...

Actually, I was going to ask Dunc about resetting everyone's econs so we can actually use it. I don't know if the shop plugin recognises mod items, but if it dosn't we can just set up a noticeboard with fair prices that everyone must pay for their items. Nothing more, nothing less.

EDIT: @TJ Yeah, you're right. I looked it up after I'd said it, sorry about that.

Only one thing though, there are no Technic servers. Tekkit is the multiplayer version of technic (mods that have multiplayer support, many in Technic don't), which subsequently has a singleplayer version as well. Technic is pure SP.

Why is the server telling me that I must wait 1 more minute until logging in again, for about the 4th time?

It's also giving me a black screen, which then turns into a white screen after I wait a minute to log in.

Well, I finally caved and bought the game. I'm absolutely loving it so far, even though I have to go to the Minecraft Wiki for pretty much everything since I have no idea what I'm doing. I'd love to join you guys eventually! 👍

EDIT: Whoops, forgot to post my info and stuff. Username DrivingPark (never would have guessed, huh?) - I would appreciate being whitelisted please.

I don't even lose power anymore... this thing is amazing.

Hey guys, just bought Minecraft for PC. I saw on the first post that I have to be on this 'whitelist', please add CarlosSultana.

I'm at work now so I can't go on Minecraft, but how does this work? I just join GTP's world and if there is room, I can built whatever I want..?

^ At the moment you can't join unless you download a program called Technic (and the multiplayer version Tekkit). It's a bunch of mods that change the game. I'd suggest just screwing around in singleplayer or another server untill we get back to vanilla, or if you wanna take the step just google and YouTube Tekkit. It's just a download and it automatically installs. Though I'd recommend you learn the base game before jumping into mods :)

I don't know if the PC version is very different to the XB version, but I'm playing it for a couple of months on the xbox now. If I have to wait weeks I'll install Technic and Tekkit if isn't that much a trouble, checking their website now, sounds like a good mod. Vanilla is the 'standard' pack or..? :embarrassed:

Edit: Seems to be the standard no-mod version.. ?

^ Yes, Vanilla has been adapted as the stock standard minecraft with no mods. :)

Nader. Listen to me and listen good. You replant the trees at the public tree farm please. I thought you understood what that is all about. If you do it again you'll be in trouble. Do not just shave the leaves and leave the wood. Either take the whole tree and replant, or just take the sap from the trunk. Got it?

Technic and Tekkit (the modpack) are installed via an installer, and install into a differant folder. So, you have both standard vanilla and technic on your computer at the same time. The only difference being whether you access the program via the Technic launcher, which, obviously, will give you Technic, or standard minecraft, which will give you the vanilla game.

World saves and such are separate as well :)

Am I the only one that thinks Skilla is using his Moderator powers to spawn in things? Either that, or he really has nothing better to do.
