It's actually not entirely done. :P

Unless your computer is 20+ years old you should definitely be able to run this without any issues.
 
Most likely, yeah. :D

Gotta get enough creative juices flowing before jumping onto a server though. That way I won't be standing in the middle of the map lost.
 
Ok. So Mr Me has upgraded to Snow Leopard, and with that is able to have a version of java that was invented after the wheel, so one hopes I can be on much more often :D

As in, screw MineZ, I'm going back to Tekkit and DQ now. I do have major studies and work going on at the moment but for the next week I'll try and pop in when I can and after that I'll be all set to play frequently :)
 
I'm surprised it took Tyne that long to come back.

The server could use Admins, anyway. All these rings that allow lightning to be used and such aren't very helpful.

Aaaaanyways, I take it no one is playing on the server anymore? I haven't seen anyone on recently. You should probably stop paying for the server hosting, Duncan. It's just wasting your money to buy something for a server no-one uses. On that note, I do honestly say that I have made my choice, and I will not be returning to DQCraft for awhile. Now that my server is a Bukkit server and I have a big build project, I would like to experiment with my possibilities. :)

That being said, another Moderator should most likely be found to replace me.

Also, what's up with DQCraft? I keep getting java exceptions when trying to join with unmodded 1.3.2.

Well, it's sort of a private server at the moment and it requires LogMeIn Hamachi.

  1. Did an admin go crazy or why is there a huuuuge ball made of gold blocks with a radius of about 30 blocks? And tons of querrys around it? There's also this cute pink pig hidden in it, but yeah, why the damn gold sphere?EDIT: :lol: it's just a forcefield, mb!
  2. And why are there those strange new ice roads over the half map?
  3. And I think my reactor needs to be protected, way too atractive for grievers..... :rolleyes:
  4. Something very bad must have happened to the factory in that big volcano near spawn. My client almost crashes if I come too close..... I can only see that it got massively griefed.

Waiting for an admin...... woah!

Yeah, my volcano's been massively griefed to the point you can't walk inside it without crashing or a framerate drop to 1 fps, which is a pain when trying to fix it!

Main problem here methinks is the worldguard plugin (or whatever it's called, the land claiming one), doesn't work to stop destruction catalysts and other tekkity thingies from wreaking havoc. I assumed it'd be safe, how naive I was :).

Edit: Managed to stop the flow of glass getting stuck, now just waiting for about a billion blocks of the stuff to despawn from the factory floor hopefully! Was hilarious how much of the stuff came spewing out.

Yeah definitely protect that reactor if you can find a way :P Don't need any more holes in the map!

Then use 3 layers of reinforced stone. 3 layers of reinforced stone can completely absorb the explosion of a nuke or reactor.
And yes, my client droped to an unplayable framerate every time I came close to it. :lol: Good that you fixed it!

Sadly in my case it was a certain griefer (I know a name.... ) who destroyed the forcefield, broke several security systems, basically destroyed the half system, but still couldn't manage to let it explode and simply broke the reactor blocks instead. :rolleyes:

Nice one. I think that is what was causing all the errors in the console.

I'll hop on later and see if I can see who did it.

If you think you will be on more often I'd be happy to promote you to deputy. :)
 
The worldguard plugin does kinda annoy me. Only because I keep wanting to fix Adam's house and I can't. :lol:
 
Seriously, what is up with these new people? They do nothing but grief, I've never seen a productive and friendly one. Whitelist? As in, a real whitelist? Not the ranks system, but you actually have to check this thread, and ask to join.

I'm sure some don't grief, but the majority of them are. I'm scared for my home.

I've seen MCBans work wonders on another server. Its nice to see someone get banned the instant they log on. I think it would be a good idea to use it again.
 
The only problem is that users are at the mercy of server owners. I was recently banned from a server for not apologising after being annoyed at the admins. I was annoyed because they kept tp'ing me high up and dropping me in lava because "it was fun". That server didn't have MCBans but if it did, it would have caused me problems accessing lots of servers.

Well, if they aren't complete 🤬 then there's still the option to do only a local ban which won't get counted, but yeah, I see your point. But maybe you could simply say that only players with more than, just as example, 4 bans have no acces instead of the 2 bans limit.
 
I've noticed a lot less damage since you banned the rings. How are these new kids getting all the stuff to make rings and fancy armor so fast? I always see them flying around in the quantum armor. One has only been on for a week.
