I know they follow you normally if you feed them seeds and still hold them (makes them easier to breed if they aren't close together), so that would make some kinda sense.

EDIT: Wait, there are baby Zombie Pigmen too? That's scary. Thankfully I've only managed to wind up a Zombie Pigman once, when I hit it with an arrow, when it got in front of a Blaze. I killed it quickly then stayed the heck away from its friends for a while :)

Thanks. I'll join later on and let you know whether lag is a problem or not. 👍

~ EDIT ~ Seems good at the moment.

I hadn't changed it yet. I have now.

*edit*
Scratch that.

I've decided that I should try out Spigot instead of Bukkit. Apparently it can greatly reduce the amount of resources the server uses so reduces lag.

The server will be down for an hour or two while I change it over.

*edit2*
Ok done. Let me know how it is.

Just tested my new desktop PC on the server and it runs very nicely (600-700 fps); all I need to do now is download some fancy shaders. :)

Planned on doing a caving session with @crunchMONKY78, but he - unfortunately - left the game. I'll be online later today. 👍

@DQuaN Is it possible to increase the render distance on the server? I've got everything maxed out, but it seems like the server is only loading so much... Here's a screenshot of what I mean. 👍

Sorry my friend, Laptop battery died.. I'm not always at home when I'm online. ;)

Thanks for the info, Duncan. Just tested it and it's much better; can't notice any lag (placing/breaking blocks).

The only thing that's not that great is the fact that I seem to be a recognised as a new player, which means that I don't have access neither to my personal homes ("/home <name>") nor my actual inventory.

Here's a screenshot, so that everyone can compare the render distance to the one in the screenshot I posted above:

Uh Oh!!

Try now.

Also, watch out for witches. They throw potions at you.

Oh I know, I've experienced quite a lot in survival mode, just hadn't seen the chicken jockeys! Witches can be a pain, I'm glad they are more abundant now (rather than waiting at a swamp hut and even then they often didn't turn up) but they are sneaky as all hell too. Pretty sure their AI is tuned so that they hide and when you go looking for them, you end up in the range of their ebil potions =/

I'm not able to tell, since I can't connect to the server. I'll try it later. :)

Server had crashed. It's back up now.

Being newly Spigot, it may take a bit of tweaking to make it more stable.

I am learning to be more careful using and placing TNT. I basically decided to get rid of a huge hill that I once used to build a watchtower over. The most effective way to clear lots of land in a hurry is to use TNT. How you use it, however, can be tricky. I basically began to set up as many as three to five different pieces of TNT to clear all or most of the hill. I did eventually destroy the watchtower I previously made atop that hill. The one thing that scared me was how some of the TNT packs would get knocked around as the explosions were going on. Some of the explosives almost exploded at towers in one of the cities I built! I may basically use that new space to further develop one of the cities in my Creative Minecraft world.

Because of my fondness for modern cities, I often look for points in the world to begin developing cities ranging from small villages to certain major cities. So I found one point that I wanted to try something different. I wanted to create a city around a mostly hilly plains area. Only difference is that I wanted to maintain the elevation changes. So what I wanted to do was have a city in design similar to, say... San Francisco. Have buildings on elevation changes much like the hilly nature of San Francisco. Sadly, all I did around the area was build up a tower using Blocks of Iron to make a tower similar to Coit Tower. Most of my inspired buildings and cities are inspired by certain world cities, but I don't try to make exact replicas of locations. I mix things up. Like when I played Minecraft PS3, I made twin towers similar to the Petronas Towers in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; but they aren't an exact replica of the Petronas Towers.

Still enjoying PC Minecraft!

Thanks for the TNT advice.

Just recently, I successfully was able to tame a horse and be able to control it. It is a bit strange to me because I turned the horse loose around one of my major cities. I got used to the mechanics of riding a horse as I went along. Let's just say that if Minecraft had some kind of equestrian circuit, I probably wouldn't do so well performing one of those runs. Despite this, it was great fun riding a horse in Minecraft. The horse tends to go as fast as your running speed. It was so fun!

I have a racecourse on my server that we occasionally race around. :)

Hopefully not one with boats. They seriously control like bricks, and not how you want them to. You can only use A/D when you're accelerating, and reversing is beyond my knowledge for stupidity. Luckily them horses are easier to control. (But just barely)

So I finally got enough Blaze Powder and Ender Pearls to make the 10 Eyes of Ender my End Portal needs. In fact I collected 11 Blaze Rods forgetting that each one makes 2 powder, so I only needed 5, oops. Glad it's over as I think I've been a little unlucky with the Nether on my seed, way too many oceans of lava, a Fortress relatively near my portal but not much of it is intact. Destroyed the Blaze spawners way back so was a waiting game, wandering about until more spawned in. Two shots each from my Power IV bow does for them, though way back I had a bow with Infinity, but lost it. Miss that now!

Which leads me to the question, anyone know the approx cost to enchant a bow with Infinity? I've tried various costs up to about 30 but keep getting various levels of Power and Unbreaking instead. Never seem to get Fire either.
