How do you farm them? I didn't think there are spawners for Wither Skeletons, or do you mean with eggs in creative? I've killed about 15-20 Wither Skeletons and have one skull for my troubles.

Having killed the Ender Dragon at the weekend, will be looking to get those other two skulls soonish, though having a bit of a relaxing explore first, to find some of the newish biomes I haven't come across yet, and perhaps bring back some nice clay and whatnot. Might even try to bring a couple of Mooshrooms home, though that is gonna be tricky :)

I'm sure you can find some 100% survival wither skeleton farms on Youtube. I've seen a few.

So having gone for a bit of an explore in my survival world, I found I wasn't finding much of note to carry back home and had all but given up and was going to reload my save back at home, when I found a big mushroom island. Though I would take the opportunity to strip mine for some diamonds as I'd assumed there would be no mobs underground as well as overground, but that assumption was sadly wrong. So now I've leashed a couple of Mooshrooms and am trying to bring them back to my home.

The island was around 27k blocks away from home. I wrote down the co-ords of two closer islands some time back but have moved house since and not sure I still have that scrap of paper! I've managed to get back about halfway so far, saving frequently and using Mineback. It's easiest when in a boat as the cows scoot across the water behind you, on the leads, but I know at some point the boat is going to break mid-ocean and I will have to frantically paddle to the surface and rez another without losing them.

On land, they can be a prize pain in the rear. There seems to be little rhyme or reason as to why they often break their leashes, then you have to find the dropped leash (already whittled down my spares and no slimes around) and chase after the stoopid things. Not to mention creepers be creepin, and dense forest and jungle biomes really have to be skirted around completely.

Night times are working well though, I tie them to a fence post and dig myself into the ground, setting a bed for the night then back to work in the morning =)

You can always use Nether Portals for transportation. If I remember correctly, traveling one block in the Nether is equivalent to traveling eight in the Overworld.

Just walking around makes you hungry. Couldn't find anything to cook a meal so made one myself. Unfortunately while mining some stone I fell down in to a tunnel with two ends?? Whoever is busy with that, I got myself back up with dirt blocks so someone is going to walk into that..

Removed the kitchen after that, but is there a house to do this or..?

I might have caused the double ended tunnel you fell through. Given how high up it was and how far I ended up falling, I figured I'd be the only one to have died from that rookie mistake so I never bothered going back up and fixing it. :dunce:

Aha! I was wondering what the goal of the tunnel was because if you went straight through you would've come out in the open in the side of the mountain.. And there was some sort of stairs down on the other end but it suddenly stopped. Is there more on the other side?
