As of June 13, 2014; it has been one year since I bought that gift card to finally get to play Minecraft. But of course, never got to play Minecraft on my former PC. It's safe to say I've waited 11 months to enjoy PC Minecraft and have lamented not being able to play Minecraft on my former PC.

For the first time ever, I successfully logged onto a server. I logged onto some server last night called Torinet. Ever heard of it? I read it was a big deal. I was able to finally visit as all I needed to do was put in just the main URL. My problem from earlier was that I put in the full "http://" and stuff. All I needed to do was put in the server address or the domain name.

Anyhow, I made my debut in the realm of Torinet by finally being able to visit the world I've read about ad naseum in this thread. I did everything from use the cannons to the different realms to even attempt the Queen's Trials. I am still very weak in the combat aspect of PC Minecraft, and you NEED weapons to stand a chance. Evidence of my inferiority in Minecraft combat came as my bare hands were my weapons after I died trying to explore Torinet being killed by spiders and skeletons. Even on Peaceful difficulty, I still haven't become as confident and adept in the combat aspect of PC Minecraft.

Now some thoughts on the Torinet world itself. What more can I say? It is beautiful and well-designed. I did get a little inspiration from some of the building designs to inspire other designs in my own Minecraft world(s). We're all Minecrafters, and so we need to find some inspiration from others to help make our own worlds and creations stand out. Being in many of the different environs of Torinet has helped me to get a little more inspiration for design ideas. I will be doing more exploring rather than mess up other peoples' creations. Don't worry about me griefing or making/saying anything offensive. I'm not that kind of guy to begin with. I don't intend acquiring membership. I basically will just get on and explore.

I do gladly appreciate the offering to visit Torinet, and I have been truly humbled to finally visit. Cheers to DQuan and all others who helped make this Minecraft server special.

I remember the first time I played Minecraft. It was back in Alpha 1.2.6 (I think) and I was starting work on my island fort. It was getting dark and my speakers were broken so I couldn't hear anything. Just when I was making a crafting table, a Spider jumped on me and scared the crap out of me. Ever since then, I kept it on Peaceful.

I overcame my fears later when my speakers were working again. Now, I ain't scared of no mobs! (Except for baby zombies, I call them Baby Z's  )

Baby zombies… my nemesis. But regular ones can be a nuisance too, especially when I'm lagging. I was mining yesterday and suddenly one came up behind me and hit me 4 times before I could even move (dat lag). I did kill it, but it left me with 4 hearts, and I had iron armor.

@JohnBM01: These Minecraft musings you post are always a pleasure to read. Keep them coming 👍

Back in b1.7.3, was digging a hole for my house. I turn around and see a skeleton, he shot me, a creeper jumped down, exploded, I died. Then I played from there to 1.5 full release in Peaceful. Then I started playing on servers, they're usually easy or above.

I've applied a fix so that you can go through nether portals on any world now. I need to look in to using flint and steel in your claims.

I officially hate wither skeletons.

I was traveling through the nether to get a blaze rod and some nether wart, when I saw a nether fortress. I jumped in and was greeted by two wither skeletons and two blazes, who then proceeded to kill me effortlessly, despite me having iron armor and Protection V diamond boots. I tried doing /back but I was dead again in less than half a second. This went on and on and on for about 10 minutes. Then MC crashed. I had died over 80 times at this point. After that, I realized that all this was of no use because I can't take stuff from Victoria's nether (only nether available) to the highlands. :(

tl;dr: Can I hazzzz a blaze rod and about 10 nether wart?

Ok I need to unify the multiverse inventories. When I do so, you will want to be in your primary world with the inventory you want to keep.

I am now incorporating boat travel into my Minecraft world. I've set up a boat system mostly to go from one side of the main continent of my Minecraft world to go to the Swampland area. I have made little marinas for boats to dock at. To pick up the boats after breaking into pieces, I made a little floor to each marina to safely collect the wooden planks. At parts of the water, I set up a route with Lily Pads. I then take those pads and place some Glowstone underwater. On top of those Glowstone Blocks are wood planks, a piece of fence, and a torch atop those fence pieces. They basically serve as buoys to help me to find a clean route to get from one section to another. I almost wanted to be fancy and make them more like the buoys you have to navigate in [a game I never played] Wave Race 64. I found boat travel to be most effective trying to reach the areas further away from the main spawn point. Since I am in Creative, I could just fly over everything. However, boat travel is more fun and more efficient. I am looking for more boat routes to set up around my Minecraft world. This is also kind of an alternative to setting up rail routes, which I am also working on worldwide.

Maybe the real reason I've become so attracted to creating Minecraft has been with my love of the SimCity series. A lot of my creative spirit reminds me a lot of my SimCity experience. Most of my Minecraft world-building has mostly been about mixing modern with a little bit of Medieval. Then again, the mix of Old World with postmodern reminds me of another gaming franchise I am a big fan of- the Final Fantasy series. To be honest, I don't know how or even why you can hate on Minecraft. People will still find reasons to hate regardless. Sad world we live in. Well... let them hate. Us Minecraft fans can't hear those haters because we're too busy building stuff and killing off Creepers and other hostile mobs.

And one last thing, thank you @GT5Power (Post #12485).

That was quick  Thanks 👍

Edit: I would also like it if inventories transferred from the highlands to the slip, if that's not a problem, then I'll stop requesting things :P
