Hi guys :) I've been playing Minecraft for a year, just never got around to introducing myself here :P Is the server whitelisted? If so, can you whitelist me @DQuaN? Never mind, I joined. IGN is ntinoskonsta. Thanks!

Think I might have found a better way of building my project, @DQuaN - been online to find a sphere generator and... let's just say I'm doing mine slightly wrong. It looks circular now but I think it may be difficult to fill in the gaps! Time to start again, methinks... Still, live'n'learn, don't you!

For the first time in my PC Minecraft experience, I found some Swampland. I had previously found some swamps in my PS3 Minecraft playing. I even built a major city on swampland in that version of Minecraft. But I began to notice the various aspects of the swampland including jungle trees, lots of lily pads on the water, and things like that. It was actually a pretty lovely setting. It was still VERY far away from the main home area. I will have to develop more land and put more things in the way to better be able to reach that specific area. While I haven't expanded my rail system, I still look to hopefully access the swamp area faster through rail. Speaking of my rail system, I got sick of stubborn passive mobs getting on the rail and sending me backwards. So what I did was put up fencing around certain areas where certain passive mobs decide to want to intercept my rail travel.

Still enjoying the Minecraft PC experience. I almost sort of lament not being able to enjoy this with my former PC. Later this week will actually be one year since I purchased Minecraft with a gift card from Wal-Mart.

Why gold? That is one of the worst tools you can get. Iron or diamond, unless you want make a new shovel every 30 blocks or so.

Ugh, sorry guys - I'm not normally that derpy, but had loads of controller and internet issues tonight. Think it's Java issues.

That's great :) Wanna see my highland home? I finished it yesterday :D

Edit: A note for @DQuaN: The highlands spawn is not protected, you might want to fix that :boggled:

Edit: I just made a nether portal and I can't light it, @DQuaN can you do it for me please? :)

When I searched around my Creative world in PC Minecraft, I searched around some Swampland and found a suspicious house floating on a lake. Turns out that I FINALLY found ANY sort of generated structure. This suspicious house is a Witch Hut. I saw it- with its red mushroom in a flower pot, a cauldron, and a crafting table. Since it is a Creative world and since I am in Peaceful difficulty, it isn't likely I'll battle a Witch in this world.

I built one house in my world to be the home for the player. Now, I've taken kind of a Grand Theft Auto approach and decided to build other homes in other parts of the world for the player. I made my own kind of makeshift mansion on the swampland in the vicinity of that Witch Hut I found. The purpose of creating these houses is to be able to better find certain home areas to better navigate the individual parts of the world. I want to think of these extra homes as home areas for each big part of the world. These are home areas to return to for when you get lost. They are different from the main spawn points, but at least there's a home for you for each sort of major division of the Minecraft world.

There is one last thing I must comment on. I really like the interface in Creative for PC Minecraft the most. One of the easiest features for me is using the middle mouse button kind of like a color picker for certain blocks in Minecraft. However, it doesn't work when trying to replace one block that has a tool in the slot. So I would prefer the ease of travel using a controller but the functionality of PC Minecraft. Some sort of middle ground between the two would be perfect for me playing PC Minecraft. Not too long ago, I actually thought about if investing in an XBOX 360 gamepad (I don't own an XBOX 360 and don't intend to get one any time soon) would be good for gaming, and also if it would be great for playing PC Minecraft.

PC Minecraft still has yet to disappoint me. When you have such a game where you always wonder what to do next or how you want to spend your time building worlds or surviving, you know you have a great title. Minecraft hasn't gotten old for me at all.
