Hi guys :)

Steven wanted to run at el cap in the oldies and I thought it was a good idea 👍 He did some math to get the power to weight right, but in testing I thought it best to just have at it :dopey: Hope some of you like it, fun stuff.

So, I decided to make another based on a few things, one, Sjaak's wrs reminded me of a tvr that I like, and two, apie hill is a great original circ.... So maybe some off you like that one too.

Erik

Round one splits: something for you guys to aim at or laugh :P

Merc Forward: 0'34.558/ 1'16.956

Jag Reverse: 0'40.128/ 1'23.261

Fun cars to drive but stay off the curbs because it seems to be raining on them

Round two

Fairlady Forward: 0'14.502/ 0'31.826/ 1'04.847

Tvr Reverse: 0'26.520/ 0'58.959/ 1'15.239

About five laps run in each car 👍

These look cool Erik 👍 totally not in the mood to race tonight or tomorrow I reckon with the bad news about the death of Colin Macrae :( ..

I'll get some laps in later this week hopefully 👍

great. i tested a number of '60 cars for this and they were all a blast. incredible tho how different cars can handle ... it'd show best if an american car were included in the lineup but never mind.
dont think you know ap hill before you tried it rev: totally different from fwd!

EDIT tried the z and v8s but afraid i dont like them as much as the fairlady 2000 '68 and corvette coupe c2 '63 :( but i'll give it a go anyway just to honour erik in his great effort to give us a good time 👍

EDIT 2 first goes at wonderful el cap:
fwd in the gullwing: only did one lap which was clean & fast (for me anyways), good traction without tcs and lovely looks in pale yellow --> 36.921 - 1.21.651
rev in the banana car: tried at least 10 laps without and with tcs (still bad traction) and very tailhappy :( --> 44.115 - 1.30.710

ap hill to follow soon once the sun goes away from my telly :)

btw michael: who's laughing?

I will run a few of these tonight... really like the TVR so far, that is all I tested, I just keep running lap after lap, too much fun!

here we go:

Z forward 14.867 / 31.892
TVR reverse 26.711 / 59.460

I have some splits of my own for apricot, none for el cap yet, I'll post them in the morn as I'm too lazy to check them now :P

I need your t3's jake :dopey:

UPDATED: Mike, Steven, and Jake 👍

My mind must be on something else......

Z forward T3 = 1'04.994
TVR Reverse T3 = 1'16.116

Finally got around to running a couple of these over the last few hours ..

E -Type Jag ~ El Cap Forward _ 33.276 / 1'14.592
Merc Coupe ~ El Cap Reverse _ 40.858 / 1'23.913

Replays saved for both and I will run the other 2 at Apricot tomorrow as I'm pretty much strapped for time 👍
Cool combo's .. Cheers

Here's my splits for both Apricot laps ..

TVR @ Apricot Forward _ 14.246 / 30.593 / 1'02.278
Fairlady Z @ Reverse _ 26.497 / 59.966 / 1'16.210

Been a couple of tenths faster at the final splits on both laps but I'm happy to submit now without going mad on them :)
Thanks for some great combo's Erik
All my laptimes submitted now.

Cheers
Ron.

Well, I'll take your word for them without a doubt, but if they are of the ntsc variety I'd take the time to load em up, or if your bored your could vid em and add some cool tunes :)
