I've noticed some of my Gearbox options are not in range also? I just try to get it as close as possible? I Wonder if it's different region's or something? would love to know...

i only Put the max speed always after resetting to 260 (depends on track) and then i adjust the max speed and then the values like 6. gearNormally i post them only if i had changed there something

No Worries,Not meaning to point out a Mistake lol,i just figured it was just that way? I'll double check my setting tonight,..Cars Amazing..Time trial last night it went 1.30,1.30,1.30,1.30@1.29 and I'm noob with wheel,Could not imagine how fast an Experienced sim racer could get it?

About those gear ratios. My impression from playing a lot of gt games is that I sometimes feel just slight difference in gearing even if I haven't made any setup changes. If hitting rev limiter max speeds varies just a tiny bit in some cases. I haven't tested this on gts yet might be the case here too. I have never checked if the gearing digits actually changed before. Just noticed this long time ago, I don't know what causes it.
I tried minkihl's gearing on gtr and I couldn't get same exact numbers but the difference is very small so I wouldn't worry about it.

Any interest on doing some setups for Interlagos?
Even though we cant use them anymore in sport.....uhm casual destruction derby mode
I hated the stock settings for the Aston Martin and M6 in yesterdays events...fingers crossed PD opens up tuning for those modes ASAP

Im so pissed I accidently changed the gear ratios on the GTR GR4 for kyoto I thought before starting I changed it to a new tuning page i miss the gtr having the powerband in 3rd,4th,5th im trying to change it back and I cant do it am I crazy to think they patched it? Lol

If you Google some you should find ways to get other gears. Something with first setting endgear to max then something else then 1stgear etc. The gears shift some way to get the other gears. I forgot the exact way sorry.

Hello.
I know, there is a problem since the last update 2 days ago. Gears are not matching anymore.
Before the update it was possible to build extremelly short gearboxes , or extremelly wide range at the opposit.
Now all the things came back to what they were in GT6. The best way to build close ratio gearbox is to perform the well know tranny trick.
So the solution to build the gearboxes of all my pre update cars is this one.
-Reset the gearbox
-Final gear to maximum , full right.
-Top speed to minimum full left
- 1st gear minimum full left
-last gear maximum full right
- Then with the final gear set the top speed you need in last gear.
- Spread the intermediarry gears heaventhly .

Pls check frequency of front suspension in Beetle dragon trail setup bro. Also the top speed is to low I am in the limiter allot but that's probably because I don't use bop right? Other than that the balance is great thnx.I hope my friend can bring it today, so if i have it and tried it i will share with u guys

..because: In my opinion a good solid car to drive:
Grp4: On Curvy Tracks 4C and porsche, ferrari and maybe aswell the mclaren (the citroen is good aswell)
On faster tracks like interlagos the Atenza, the subaru, the porsche is too slow out of corners and aswell in draft behind a other car iam a bit s slower.
(I could also put the scirocco inside for fast tracks but the car is fast and very very tricky because of understeering out of corner)
But overall the porsche is in grp 4 a allrounder but nowhere top..not either in speed or curvy.
Grp3: The Porsche is a very good allrounder with good max Speed and with very good handling... maybe out of the corner other cars are more stable and better..but overall a good package and i feel way way more competitive in grp3 during a race.
The Beetle In my Opinion is current with the bmw m6 the fastest grp 3 car but the porsche is not far behind. The 4C is also not bad but suits a) not my driving style) b) i think the car is overall to slow, but on curvy tracks like brands hatch a monster... but still..the porsche is not far behind.
Also the Viper is a solid car but a bit to much oversteer when lifting the accelerator.
The Citroen is fast aswell but not as fast as the other cars...
So the resume: (The resume only show my expirience)
BMW: Good Grp3 car but (in my opinion) not a good grp4 car.
VW: In my opinion The best Grp3 Car but a very tricky and a "hard to drive fast" car with the scirocco
Porsche : In my opinion nowhere the best car but especially the Grp3 car is super solid and nice to drive, but the grp4 car in my opinion has not enough Torque for corner exit.
Viper: Good solid Grp3 car..easy to drive but not the fastest car because of oversteering when lifting accelerator.
Citroen: In my Opinion a very good and solid choise aswell for the championship... fast on strights and easy to drive and very stable.
Alfa: extremly fast grp4 car for most of the tracks.. maybe a bit slow on straights, the grp 3 car is also good in curvy tracks but too slow on straight and a bit tricky during cornering... overall a good combination.
Mazda: The atenza is a very good grp4 car...maybe atm one of the fastest if the course is not to curvy like brands hatch, the group 3 car in my opinion is bad...
A very hot tip is the mclaren...looks like a fast stable car in both groups..havent tried it till now...

Thanks for the latest up dates? Really doing Great(And my Friends) with your tunes online! Could you possibly do the Gr3 Viper and Mustang on dragon Trail or Lake Maggiore if you get a chance in the future? Those seem to be the Hotspots when i'm on at Night here in SE United States? Also maybe some non Bop set ups,Anyway Thanks So Much! Your Setups have kept me competitive and out front, (Most of all Fun!) Thanks Again/

Hey @MINKIHL I am currently struggling to get a solid setup for the BMW M6 Gr.3 on Dragon Trail.
Fastest I could get was 1:35.9 with BOP on and RSS tires using @praiano63 's setup for Nordschleife for this car, but I am sure that's far from ideal as this is a setup for a different track.
Would love to try some setup done by you, cause I am terrible at tuning.
