I wouldn't want him too, but GT is not what I want in a racing game. Sure the first three iterations of GT were amazing, but what I want is a game that puts me in the cockpit of a full blown race car. And to this day the only games that came close was Race Pro and TOCA.

Toca is still my all time no.1 game and i loved race pro,although it didnt get a great reception over here in the uk,shift one was class with a racing rig when you got the settings right and thats what im hoping for in pcars but gt is still the best all rounder weve had on console for wheel racers and it seems to be loosing its will to live....nostalgia dictates that we need a new all improved"Gt the real driving simulator"but ps3 never truly delivered cos it never improved on gt2,thats why i fear that ps4 wont prove the series,its all about lost and wasted opportunities.

My son and I have been playing driveclub since about 8pm. It's 1 now. We watched a few videos from vvv as well. My son is wanting to join the league but we only have one wheel. It's the only way either of us can play now. He's getting real good. I just want to see how he does in traffic on pcars. He's begging for double chores so he can get a wheel. Like father like son.:sly:👍

Check out my profile pic,my lil monkeys 18months and every time i fire up he shouts carcar and climbs on me,my other one is five this week and he plays gt and grid,my oldest is 19 and hes always too tired after work(mechanic!!).im lucky we have two rigs and a 47"tv in the games room so i dont have to share,im so greedy,lol

I'm going to see how he drives in some traffic. Then I'll see. He's fast but never driven online with people clean. Maybe when all of us are practicing, I'll let him join and see how he does. And that's his idea. He's my A honor roll champ. I don't know what happened to my other two.:lol:

I wonder the same thing. Traffic anticipation and long run consistency. If races are 90 min, it's going to be a tough day with a 60 min practice and qualifying...and an hour warmup

With a week between races there is enough time to practice and setup your car. We should just have qualifying and the race.
 
Some Races won't be Race on Sunday then off the next Sunday. The schedule is down to 10 Races. Go to the 1st page. All has been updated
 
I have a race request: Could we do the Bathurst race a week earlier? I really like that track but I'll not be at home on this weekend.
 
Just a suggestion. There is a race scheduled for July 5th. Here in the states thats a big holiday weekend and familys have cookouts and whatnot. I think that there should be no races this week so that people can enjoy the celebration of the 4th of July.
 
Can we have races every Sunday? I don't really understand the current scedule and 5 months for 10 races is way too long in my opinion.

Can we vote on double points? They add a huge amount of randomness to the championship especially if someone can't make a double points race.

Yeh defo bethany,if anyone wants to then they can practice all day but we should meet up at a set time before quail,if we have an official warm up then some of us(me)will feel obligated yo be there,its 6pm my time for session start and thats just right for me cos then ive had the day with the wife n kids and i can have the living room to myself out of dad mode and get into race mode!!

No no no,no more votes,stalliono has put a lit of time and effort into arranging this series and i for 1 think thats perfect,the time the venues the dates the rules the points the relugation system the pro team member choice,the only issue i had that was raised by @Bethany Dawn was with an
Online warm up pre race,its not needed,but the series length and dates are fine,very formula one-esque.
 
Theres too much pissing around here,sorry but if you choose to join a series then thats what youre joining,people cant walk in and start asking to change this and that,i joined this as is and ive spoken to anybody that mat be affected and outside of an actual emergency ill be there come hell or high water!
