I'm hoping Project CARS will be the kick up the arse Polyphony needs to make GT7 the game we all want. In reality, I'm not that bothered as long as Project CARS lives up to the hype.

I wouldn't want him too, but GT is not what I want in a racing game. Sure the first three iterations of GT were amazing, but what I want is a game that puts me in the cockpit of a full blown race car. And to this day the only games that came close was Race Pro and TOCA.

Don't worry about GT it will be just fine. The new console will provide more than enough bells and whistles to keep GT fans happy. I daresay most of the diehard loyalists aren't really interested in a hardcore simulator, most are happy running their short races, earning credits, filling their garages and customizing cars. There's plenty of room in this genre for both PCars and GT and truthfully, the more successful each game is, the more likely we'll get someone else into the fray and have even more good choices down the road.

There's nothing I want on PS4 that I can't get on PC, and plenty on PC that I can't get on PS4. If anything I might buy a PS4 for GT7 if PD knocks it out of the park...but the odds of that...
