I use what ever works best for me, it varies from game to game, also on DC its car to car.
With DC not having car tuning sometimes cars need to run as little as 360 to give good balance, ie get rid of understeer

But on average 400 to 500 works best for me, so yes if it was set at 420 it would be 210 left 210 right.

I would, but at the min, i cant really dedicate time to a serious series, further more I can't blooming race anyway there would be too many crashes at the fault of me for not knowing breaking distances and various other stuff that a newb wouldn't know.

But I will be watching, all I ask is to keep me posted as to when races and when you all get together so that I can learn from them, or even if you guys have a spare place in party chat so that I could listen in.( granted if someone in the series comes in chat, and there is no space i'll leave the chat)

I use L2 for brake and right thumb stick up for throttle. R2 for gear up and flick the right thumb down for gear down

This would take a lil getting used to, but if I did get used to it, I somehow strangely and oddly think. that i would like it

Start slow and work your way up. The BMW 1M should be one of the more neutral handling cars on the list, not too quick. Personally I'd start with ABS only and go from there that way you can be safer with the braking, but practice throttle induced oversteer. Pick a track you are familiar with to start. Forget about trying to be fast at first but experiment with different braking and throttle techniques, feel out the curbs, practice oversteer, work your way out of understeer etc. It'll come fairly quickly because it's more natural but it will be tough at first.

Thats exactly what sms sed @Johnnypenso ,wen they announced wheel compat.
The most natural and instinctive way to frive is with a wheel,with a pad youre simply controling the car where as with a wheel youre driving it,i started on a madcatz playing f1 97,toca touring cars and of course Gt! Youre lucky cos wheels are a lot more intuitive and sophisticated now.....

It doesn't need to be something you have to attend but have 1 day before qualifying so we can go into a lobby and just drive on track, talk and get to know one another. I'm really looking forward to speaking to everyone. This season's going to rock!! Can't wait.

Listen up aim racers on ps4,i have massive news @Johnnypenso found this for me,it confirms the one option that can make or break a racing sim for wheel users,if you use a wheel then you have your iwn hands and wheel infront of you so you dont then want someone elses too,drive club does a great dash cam but thats not real pov,PROJECT CARS HAS THIS OPTION(cue rapturous rounds of applause and a fanfare ot bugles along with ticker tape)....

Yeah im well up for that. Will also give us a chance to see which graphic options will be best suited to 14 player online races. I'm sure SM only added the graphics options in for console players because it will tear up if your use the same setting for all types of modes available ie time trails vs full grid offline, multi player online.
