I have a new T300rs with a set of the new Pro pedals coming but modded my 300 pedals with RC shocks like on race department. I have a playseat sv also and that brings up a question maybe one of you guys can answer or confirm for me about hooking all this up.

So i have a hdmi from the PS4 to the tv. I'm using gaming headset so I have it on "all audio" for the headset which makes the sound out of tv no longer work nor will any other hdmi out. I need to hook up my playseat, buttshaker (external from the one in seat) and surround sound. This is my thought, I have a optical audio 1 to 3 splitter coming out of back of PS4. One goes to a L/R audio connector to the playseat, then one optical to surround and then one to the amp for buttshaker.

From what I have read the only way to have separate headset and external sound is by using the hdmi for headseat and then optical out for all other sounds. Any of you guys have a setup like this? I did alot of research on it but just want to confirm from a racer as all the other stuff i read wasn't race related nor did they use splitters.

I believe there is no dedicated servers. So its host racing like GT.

Is there option to change host or set host. Why am asking as my internet would not be efficient 12Mb down and 3 up.

Maybe before season starts players with fast or fibre broadband can be nominated to host. Just a thought. As anybody else got any views on this.

I agree with above. Gotta make sure hosts have the best connection.

I know mine is about 45-50mbps.

"Proper" FOV works best only if you are very close to your screen and the screen is fairly large. So 36" from a 42" tv would be good. 72" from a 46" would not be so good. If you have the right setup, I suggest working out the proper FOV and then adding a few points to it and starting from there.

Thank you Johnny, I just used this calculator and came up with a 72 degree field of view for my 40" which I sit really close to while driving.
