I think that's people are getting wires crossed. Its clear the thread as gone off on a tangent but this is down to ( IMO) people are happy that the game is finally coming out and are just being genuinely enthusiastic (which can take on many forms) but also they want to become accustom to the players that will be in their league and not necessarily all the people on gtplanet.

Let's not all become haters before we've even rubbed metal. What chance will we have

Not quoting this post but more taking off from it, it's not unknown in the GT Racing Forum to have both a race organizing thread and separate discussion thread for banter, ideas, suggestions, working out details etc. This might be something @STALLIONO could consider so that important announcements don't get buried in the thread. It is frustrating to have to look through pages of chatter to see if there is something you need to know.
