That's what i was thinking. With all the trouble with just a rollcall, it might be impossible to get all the times in a timely manner.

Even if the times roll in in 5-6 man lobbies, correctly set-up, with the group vouching for the accuracy of the settings and a screenshot.

I think it's okay to participate in multiple qualifying sessions. Otherwise some people won't try an early qualifying because they can practice even more and everybody wants to qualify on the very last day. I think the latest possible qualifying should take place the Friday before the race, so that we have the weekend to find our team members and work on setups for the first race.

And BTW: I was as surprised as you when I read that I don't need to qualify at first. I agree with you that everybody should qualify in the same way.

No, everyone should participate in 1 qualifying session only, that way is FAIR to everyone.

You know what, I'm happy with whatever @STALLIONO decides as long as it is possible to do a valid laptime after the original qualyifying date for me and everyone else who can't make the date.

And fyi: It doesn't matter if the driving aids were all switched off, we never said you aren't allow to switch them off.

I hear you.. You did nothing wrong. I have to make it fair for everyone. Set up a Qualifying date. I gotta g o to work. See you all later

Funny, it says exactly what aids are to be used for qualifying on page 1... FYI ;)

Well yes, you have to switch them on in the lobby settings so that they can be used. I never read the have to be used by everyone. That's how I read it. Maybe that should be clarified how it is indended

That's the limit of the assists you can use, you are not going to be forced to use traction control and abs. It's completely irrelevant though as with the gt3/4 cars as you are slower without tcs and abs than you are with them (or at least it's harder to get a good time). 2:10 is a good time (but a couple of seconds off the best), and with assists I'd assume that he would be able to go faster, even in a limited time qualifying session.

I have no problem with him using this time as his qualifying time.

No, people were asking what assists we are using, it was agreed to use "real" (TCS ABS). Also, what time of day was that time made? etc etc etc. Either we all stick to the rules or its pointless having rules.

It's ok to drive again for me, I just thought it might be too late to plan the first race early enough. My deadline is 3 pm CET on the 3rd of June and there is no extension possible at University, so I will have time on this day and the day after (which is also public holiday in Germany).

Let's end this discussion here, if not everbody is okay with my time. I also hope to improve so no drama ;)

I think there has been some confusion here. When you are setting the restrictions in the multiplayer lobby, by changing the assists to real, you are not forcing people to use real assists, you are making those real assists the most they can use.

This means that you can have the multiplayer lobby set up for real assists, but drivers will still be able to use no traction control or abs. What they won't be able to use is stability control, as in real life gt3 cars don't use stability control.

This is different to the player settings, where applying real assists will force you to use whatever assists are available for the car in real life, and you will not be able to adjust these yourself (e.g. you would not be able to turn off traction control or abs in a gt3 car).

Psychoazubi's time falls within these restrictions and is therefore a valid time.

There is a difference between they are on in the lobby and all players must have them on. But instead of arguing, we should just wait what our stewards/mods decide.

Stalliono already said ABS and TCS, I have quoted it above to save anyone else the bother of digging through the thread.

Another thought about staggered qualifying. If the people who go last know roughly what time they need to make 1st tier but fear they will be towards the bottom end they may decide to sandbag a little in order to end up in the second tier and be towards the front.

Just a thought...

No it has been said we use what we want end of, done now!

No, it's Stalliono's series, he said ABS and TCS are on for qualifying. If you want to cheat, that's fine.

It's not my fault if people have problems sticking to the rules. Rules that are clearly set out.

Like i said it was said TC and ABS was on for people who want to use them, but you don't have to. Why you no listen!

It's also impossible to force everyone to use tcs and abs, as I already explained the lobby setting restrictions only limit what you can use, put the settings on real assists and people will still be able to turn them off.

Stalliono said "ABS and TCS on for qualifying" It's his series, I'm just pointing out to you the rules.
