The confusion in this thread is over 9000!
It was decided that the lobby settings would be the same throughout all tiers, meaning the we would be limited to tcs and abs, as in if we want to use assists, those are the most we can use.

go back to page 68 and there are other pages also where stalliano tells you exactly what we are using. Even the first page. Then you can see that you guys ignored it or just tried to spin it your way. Some even ignored it and said we do what we want. Pay attention guys. Spooky is spot on. Reading comprehension guys.

Well I can't say I'm not frustrated that no one has actually read what I've been saying (or at least taken it in).
Let me put it very clearly: there is no lobby setting that let's you force people to use traction control and abs.
You can only limit players to using traction control and abs, they will still be able to turn both of those assists off at their own discretion.

Because the rules say ABS and TCS on. I don't care about it, but then what's the point in having rules? There was a big discussion about ABS and TCS, at the end of it, that's what was agreed. It's not my fault if people didn't speak up during that time.

matt, i have never played a racing game that I was faster with traction control on. Maybe this game is different but since its all the fast guys that want it off, im pretty sure its the same here.

Traction Control: On
Tires: Race Slicks
Racing Line: On/Off
Damage: Off (Will be on for the Series)
Time of Day is on Real
Mechancial Failures are off for Qualifying. Will be on for the Series.
Tire Wear: Real
Fuel Usage: Real
Auto Start Engine: Yes
Flags and Penalties are On for Qualifying. Will be on for the Series.
LOBBY SETTINGS.....
Not mandatory use.... end off/
And will state this: I will not use TC for qualy and you can´t do nothing about it... now deal with it....

TCS is debatable, I'm sure there are some pad users who will be quicker with tcs than without it, and in terms of abs, with gt3 cars it is very difficult to not lock your tyres with abs turned off, and even if you manage not to lock them, the benefits to turning it off are miniscule.

Go back and read the thread properly. As I have already said, I took a direct quote from the guy running the series. He said (at the end of a long discussion) ABS and TCS on for qualifying. It's there in black and white if you can find it.
