Modified Track Path Editor + Tracks/Discussion

So I heard you guys are talking about glitched tracks beyond 10km. Is this an undocumented (good) glitch for us?

And I insta-saved some and I'll try them out later.

Yes! I just tried 40m on Death Valley, and it was certainly many car lengths wide. :D

No. At least not with what we can do so far. Don't even know if it's the editor that puts them in before transferring, or GT6 afterwards.
Please make a 100 meter one and take a pic of you can? :) much appreciated

If you can make a super narrow track, does that mean we have a rally theme? Because all that's left is just the grass/dirt on the sides :D

I'm curious of how narrow you could make the track. :sly:

I saved 'Thin Death' with a 0.5m width... got the widebody Supra round it, just.

Then tried same track with 0.125m and changed to Eifel... PS3 crashed :(

Very interesting, if this is easy to do this could lead to many more tracks but the look of driving through houses may be a bit off putting for some. I'm hoping a top gear test track is possible with this.
I don't think so, since all the tracks have barriers/guardrails...

Sorry if the answer is really obvious, but how do you change the track's width?

Once you set it at the start, you can't change it. Outspacer uses an external software to hack the app I think, that's why he can change it at will and to values outside 6-15 meters.

We edit the save files with other tools. The app is not hacked.

Maybe @PR1VATEJ0KER could be persuaded to add an edit for track width (in the 'info' block) in his prototype web tool?

Fat Death and Thin Death is a lot of fun surprisingly. Fat Death is killer in anything other than rally cars, but it feels like you're messing around in a huge demo derby style bowl :D Thin Death reminds me a lot of slot car racing

Outstanding work @Outspacer I tested out the 0.5 metre wide track which was quite funny since you can just drive out of map, the 100 metre one which seems like it'd be fun online for some Mario Karting haha and the Subi on stilts which was very interesting! If you get some free time I wouldn'tind seeing some long downhill descends where any car could reach it's top speed pretty quickly with maybe a ramp at the end or even just a very steep drop. Just some mad ideas, love the work keep it up 👍

Thanks! P_eMmO_72's Top Gear track is pretty cool too, partly 'on stilts' and partly 'in gorge' - wish we could work out how to get that elevation glitch under control!

I currently have three versions of a track set on private called "Descent of death" which are pretty much what you describe. I haven't been modding the editor, this is with the stock track path app, but you basically have a 4 mile straight that drops by 1518.3ft. One version has ramps every few hundred meters, one has 3-4 ramps, the other just a couple. All have a massive ramp at the very end of the track where you tend to cross the finish line half a mile in the air. I can fine tune these and share them for you.

I've just installed bluestacks on my PC & while I meet the minimum system requirements for some reason the track editor wont load (your hardware don't support this application sorry) :(

Ahh well... no glitched tracks for me :(
