We went to Kennedy Space Center on Sunday...

I went there when I was in Orlando for the GT Academy National Finals last year. I arranged to have my flight out booked later in the day, so I got up that morning, grabbed a Nissan Altima Coupe rental car, and drove out to the Space Center. Went and saw the Saturn V rocket too. (HUGE!) Pretty cool place. :)👍

Moglet, the best attraction there is a Walmart. Take a camera there.... they're MASSIVE in the US! Theyre so big you cant even see the end of it.

But being serious, go on an Air Boat ride and Alligator seeing... its pretty cool, not too far from Orlando.

It's hitting 30 degrees at midday or so and the humidity is around 60%, which is fine by me.

Hey, if you are going to use "our" words while here, you might as well use our units of measurement too!

:P

yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We've been here a week now and we're loving it! Driving is easy, food is good but affordable and the parks have been good fun too. We've been to The Magic Kingdom, Epcot and Blizzard Beach so far and we're visiting Animal Kingdom today. Blizzard Beach has probably been my favourite place so far despite coming back with 2 cut toes and an insane sun burn. Our sun protection was no match for the Florida heat it seems.

Good times! I loved Blizzard Beach, especially the big water slide. Overall I thought it was better than Typhoon Lagoon... apart from the tidal wave thingy. :D

Did you go in the 'authentic' English pub at Epcot? Actually had some decent beers there. ;)

Did you go on the massive slide?! That was good fun I remember, and yes the cut toes, the floor is so grippy it's like walking on sandpaper!

So you're staying on I-Drive, where they serve food in buckets! Go to the Boston Lobster Feast for a real 'treat'. :dopey:

Last month my dad also went over to the U.S.(Springfield and Chicago) and he said he was surpised to see a ridiculous amount of meals served before his eyes(just like pumped in a bucket :D) too.

Yeah, you need to reapply that stuff frequently down here. Especially if you're using chemical instead of physical protection with zinc and stuff.

You have to reapply sunscreen, especially around water...it's easy to forget that (I still do sometimes).

When will you be home again?

I'll be home on the morning of the 27th. We've been busy visiting parks and stuff but tomorrow is the big one; Islands of Adventure and the Halloween Horror Night :D

Unpacked yet?

If so, start posting please. :D

We've almost unpacked now, but have mainly been sorting the house out (cleaning, washing etc.) so haven't really had time to sort the photos out yet. Rest assured though, there will be some big posts coming up soon 👍
