Appreciate the vid RJ, I gave it a go in a practice session ( 1st of june 2019, 1pm ) and was able to rather constantly lap 2.18s. Potential lap time said 2.17.4 with a fastest lap of 2.17.8 from the top of my head. All on a default setup (and using a controller).
@Sick Cylinder Ill be able to make it tonight if there is room thanks 👍
Was the video I did particularly helpful to many people? It's something I could potentially upload every Thursday for the next week's track. I'll only do it if you guys find it worthwhile though
I have seat forwards /backwards set to buttons so i can adjust it on the fly, but find getting wing mirrors in veiw is to far back to get a good view of the road.
I use the radar to keep a eye out for others and rear view button set to use if needed ..
Great photo's John. Can anyone tell me FOV to get the view with quarter light windows in allowing you to see cars at the side of you.My screen is a 24inch & position from eyes to screen is about 70cm. Cheers guys.
It often depends on the car but you can try my settings if you like. I did a lot of testing and I think they might be similar to what you're after. Can anyone tell me FOV to get the view with quarter light windows in allowing you to see cars at the side of you.
I might be able to take over practise room duties, I sent a load of invites out a week or so ago to try and get everyone on my list in case this happened. Don't know if everyone has accepted yet though.
I arrived just in time then.Shall we say 10 racers is the minimum to make it a points scoring round?
Bought h-patern shifter last weak. Thought it will be fun to drive historical cars on Monda it s race. Tried it today - OMG, I can't drive this way. And it is after 20 years driving manual gears cars in real life .
A lot of practice is needed.
