Sonoma, it's certainly not very forgiving of the slightest mistake. I qualified midfield and then driving fairly steadily I mainly benefited from mistakes and misfortunes by those ahead to gain places. I had a couple of on sand experiences, one of my own making and the other caused by a lag spike just at the wrong moment.

As much as I like it in my short races on Fridays they are in more controllable cars. At less than a minute a lap 35ish times around there in the Mustang might just be a little much! Texas road coarse, which incorporates much of the infield, would be a better choice IMO. It'd be less chaotic and you'd get them into 6th gear at last.
