Monthly payments, pay in full option, and more...

It would be good if they had this.
1. Damage (if you could fully wreak or not) After all you don't want to go out buy a 10,000 car, the AI hits you, you run into wall, your car gets wreaked, gameover.
2. Get the car you want in the beginning of the game
3. You can pay in full later.
4. It makes sense to fully use the GT calendar

It would also be good to have insurance on the car, so you don't have to pay more than the cars worth to get it fixed. Not to metion if the car is rare and you accidentally blow an engine or something.

The licence test should have a section dedicated to handling a blown tyre, damaged body, etc...

We all know that GT5 will have less cars than GT4, based on pattern, becasue they are trying something new. GT6 will be a sight to see.

GT5 should have cars people care about. They shouldn't have no more than 2 super crap cars with less than 60 HP. A motor carriage isn't going to win any races.

I wonder what type of damage will PD use...maybe the car breaks down, you have to buy single parts for the engine, or the options could be like in NFS:PU, and you might have to buy tyres and fuel onm a regular basis.

Let's just hope that they don't reveal a deadline, because then they would be rushed into production like with GT4. This game is going to have online, better AI, and better cars. Let's just hope for the best.

the ultimate thing to do would be to design each part for the car and just have every part work as the system.....just like in real life. if a part fails, it affects everything around it.

That would need a lot of power to pull off if we could see something similar before ps4 it would be great

 This is great! How about you also have to establish credit with steady job and you can race only after work or on weekends.

Starting with any car you want would totally take the challenge out of the game.

"Yes, I'd like a McLaren F1 and a LeMans roadster to go please. Oh, take it of savings, account number.."

the payments idea is a neat one. I think it'd be a little too realistic but it's still a neat idea.
However, there is a flaw in it about the beginning. You need to understand that if you are going for realism like that, you'd have to include the fact that no-one will give you credit until you've proven yourself a little bit.
So credit at the beginning won't work, win a few races first, set up some loans and build credit.

too much like real life to work.

Yeah it doesnt matter if there's a deadline it will be delayed a couple years anyways right? :sly: .

The idea about getting a loan and such an expansion on the economic system for the game is pretty cool but pretty complex at the same time. For example what does insurance cover? Do your rates go up everytime you get in accident?! I could easily see myself yelling at the TV for the AI boosting my insurance.

 :dopey: And don't forget if you can't make payments they will repo your car.

It sounds awesome. I can just imagine crashing into one of you guys in online free roam mode and getting out of the car to inspect the damage and one of you will be like, wtf man, I just had an engine swap, now you totaled it!
