Yep. 6x6 crop or 6x6 image if you happen to have a camera that produces that sized image. There is more to it than just being a "square crop" though as composition has to change to reflect/ acknowledge the absence of a typical length-ways or vertical image.

By far my most popular picture of 2015 ( if facebooks likes is a metric ) I was walking back from taking pictures from the other end of the course with my spotter when this S2000 slid into frame. Coming out of a fast slalom he jumped off the throttle to try and make a slightly slower left bend. Car was fine but had at least 50 pounds of dirt in it.
