Anyone else think it's ridiculous to be able to place all your votes on 1 car? It will invalidate the list if enough people do this.

I vote for change!

Other than that though, great thread! I was thinking of making something similar, but no point now as you've beat me to it ;)

I agree 1 person 1 vote. Most of us would like more than 5 cars anyway so if people just list thier top cars the list would show which cars are the most wanted.

Also what is with all the super cars? We need more classics.

Noble M600 '10
Ferrari F50 '95
Mclaren F1 LM '95
Red Bull RB6 '10
Mclaren MP4-25 '10

The Noble, because it's my current favourite supercar. The F50 and the F1 LM, because I loved these two cars when I was younger. And last but certainly not least, the two F1 cars because we need something for the F10 to raise against from the same era and technical regulations.

Toyota Starlet '83
Ford Sierra RS Cosworth RS500 '87
Nissan Pulsar GTI-R '94
Ford Escort RS Cosworth '96
McLaren MP4/4 '88

The MP4/4 doesn't really need a year but listed anyway.

It's quite hard to do a list of five, but I picked five cars I think would really add something to a Gran Turismo game.

Ford Fiesta '10 (or 11, which ever is newer)

Audi R10 TDI

Ferrari Testa Rossa

Volkswagen Golf GTI (The newest one)

and last but not least, the most IMPORTANT! The Koenigsegg CCX

Never mind, I have posted a new post that has been edited. Skip this.

Holden VE Commodore SS '06
FPV GT 5.0 '11
FPV F6 310 '10
HSV GTS E3 '11
Ford Falcon GTHO Phase III '71

(These cars are already on the list with one vote each, I am voting for each of them for GT6... 3 Australian cars out of 1031 in GT5 is a joke.)

Kia Cee'd '10, Citroen DS3 '10, Renaultsport Megané Cup 255 (I think) '10, Chevrolet Lacetti Saloon '04, Suzuki Liana Saloon '01 :)

Wow... Almost 300 posts. I didn't hope such a success... Hard work for me. I'll try to reach post #100 tonight, maybe some more, but please be patient :)

Thank you everybody!

BMW M3 E30 Evo II '89
BMW M3 E36 '92
BMW 323i E21 '75
BMW M 635 CSi '83
BMW E30 325ix '88 (the one with AWD)

Am I a (BMW) whore?

Shelby GT500 Super Snake 2011
FPV F6 310 2010
FPV GT 335 2010
Ford XA GTHO Phase IV Race Car 1972
Ford GTHO Super Falcon Race Car 1970

You may have to google the last 2 if you don't follow Australian motorsport

You messed up HARD on your list, make it alphabetic to save mess loads of time. Also, you don't need to put who votes for what. Just keep us updated how far on the list you are. No need for you to make it hard for yourself. Also, I'd be willing to help you.

Say you get to 100, and I can count up post 201-250 for you and pitch in if you wish.

BUT PLEASE, don't count x5 for a single car and from one person.

Agreed, although I would probably prefer the E1 GTS purely because the E3 has a face not even a mother could love. Would love to put the FPV's and HSV's up against each other through, especially the new Coyote!

:idea:You make a good point, it totally slipped my mind about some older Aussie muscle!

Having owned some older Fords (XA GT replica, P5 LTD, ZH Fairlane) you'd think I would know better:ouch:

I was always more of a fan of the Phase II rather than the III, however the III is more well known. I would however wet my pants if there was an XA GT hardtop:drool:
I also like the idea of the Winfield GT-R, that would ruffle a few feathers!

It certainly would. I read an article about the Richards/Skaife GT-R and apparently Fred Gibson wanted to build a few for the Japanese market but Nismo wouldn't allow it because it was quicker than anything they were producing.

I'm actually surprised it hasn't been included in any iteration of GT up to this point considering the impact it had not only on Australian motorsport but touring car racing in general

I would take the E3 over a W427 though, man is that thing ugly.

Never mind,

It would look better like this:

Audi R10 TDI

Koenigsegg CCX

Porsche GT3

Volkswagen Golf GTI (The newest Possible)

There, now I'm happy!

Edit: I just realized those are all German
