but most of the time the cars are around the same stats and the small stat difference won't matter much as escaping will come down to the cops more than the car we choose.

Even then, there is always going to be one car that will escape the police better.... that's the next step to the meta game of Ambushes... and there is a Huayra in this event.

I only got that time because the game decided to not send the 3 cops thru the warehouse or the one outside by the RHINO Units. Plus the cops rubber banded away from me.

I instantly e-brake slam the cars ass end into the wall, take out the cop that usually drives into the wall, plow thru a RHINO Unit & then drift towards the highway evading the cars by the end of the warehouse. I slide in between the billboard jump & cut the engine hoping the cops don't rubber band towards me.

Nevermind, I figured it out on my own. Did almost exactly as you wrote. Easier than I expected. Managed a 46 sec. run on my first try turning around and going the opposite direction.

Also, I smacked Printscreen on the finish screen and got a hickup while it did it's thing, but I can't find the shot anywhere. Have to use paint to save the raw bmp.

I noticed you haven't gotten pro in anything. Maybe if you got those you would get these times more regularly, and not just by luck.

This Ambush is purely 100% luck. Like I said I only got my time because Ambushes are glitchy & the game decided to not send the normal cops at me. All I had to deal with was the one Crown Vic & the two Exploders that just block the way. The Pro mods won't help me or anyone over the standard mods.

That has never happened to me and look at my score. Imagine if when that happened to you, you had a higher accel and double the boost. You would have escaped the sight circle much quicker and started cooldown earlier.

I turn around since it takes so much time to get up and it's not like you lose the cops once you jump off. Anyway, I'm putting you in Upper League from now on. Object if you must.

I don't think you've realized yet that Pursuits aren't going to lay down the same cops in the exact same places. Do you not realize how linear that becomes?

Yes but they should never disappear like they did for him. Going from 10+ cops to just 3 and wrecking at least 1 of them isn't really a fair pursuit.

Hahhh that happened to me too. Don't forget this is just for fun, so take the races more serious and not the pursuits. Damn you guys need to relax for a bit.

I know. Before I had to plow thru like 4 cops on my way out. That's when it decided to spawn them coming thru the SUV blockade. Why this is 100% luck & requires no skill. I can't have any fun when luck plays a massive roll in setting a time. At least on a race the only luck factor is the traffic.

I enjoy pushing a car over the edge to set a time in a race. I don't enjoy hoping the AI derps in an Ambush.

I've got to keep trying it would seem! (Besides having a tough time drifting that hairpin corner to get into that jump, I can't seem to get stopped and into accelerated CD fast enough).
