It's not worth it for me because I rarely want to record videos.

My webcam ain't hard to use. I hit record & when I hit stop it saves the video right into a folder. Hit record again repeat over & over. I can delete all the trash. Done. With the easycap I still have to set crap up.

Are you using the same mods & car with a full bar of nitrous? If the bar ain't 100% full & you're not doing 140MPH+ going onto that straight you ain't making it to 190MPH.

Dude, watching the vid., none of my speeds are comparable at any time, right from the start. Where you're pushing 147 at the start I'm lucky to push 127. I'd love to say you're just that good, and I suck, but seriously there's no impediments at that point to account for the difference.

I'll revisit this later, but unfortunately i must now head to bed as the beginning of a long-arsed workweek awaits me.

The only 2 possible reasons I can think of why you can't match us is 1. Your wheel is defunct in someway (gas pedal is broke or it's settings are off) 2. Your game files are corrupted somewhere making the Impreza not perform. That is what I'm thinking. If you could provide video maybe we can help better.

Actually, I haven't been able to build enough nitrous to enter the construction zone at 140mph.... I haven't tried it but I will certainly rtry to replicate it tomorrow morning.

The website has it 0.1MPH higher than it is, lol.

Anyway, I found on most vehicles SGP doesn't have a noticeable advantage over LGP. See you got what? 4MPH more than me for barely a second on that straight by using both. The Impreza has soooo much acceleration as is SGP does nothing.

There wasn't much of a difference later, but I figured having Short at the beginning would've helped a bit.

It would of helped you more before the finish to recoup the lost in speed from the off ramp. That's about it since that mod causes the car to suck at gaining speed once it gets going fast. Seems LGP keeps her doing 160MPH better than SGP does.

My wheel is configured properly, verified via DXTweak2.exe.

My game files are not corrupted either.

Ergo, the only possible reason I can't match you is that the game behaves differently on different platforms, as previously posited.

This is further reinforced by the fact that I'm #1 or #2 on all events I put my mind to trying (I've got one guy that really, really gives me a run for my money) in the speedwalls. Were either of your points valid, this wouldn't be the case.

I can see about getting a video going next week maybe, but I don't think I'll have a chance before new years, as I'm expecting a serious work schedule before I head to Jamaica for Xmas.

If I tried this on PC, I can confirm whether or not there is a difference. I wouldn't be surprised if there was. HP3 had a slight difference for me despite what Spoil-t believes.

I'm not. If there's that big a difference in the versions then they can't compete. You excluded Xbox players because that & if the PC lags behind the PS3 those players will eventually give up because there's no hope.

We could remove the Little League and separate PS3 from PCs... granted only if enough people here play the PC title.

I knew my previous record wouldn't hold. Good racing. Due to the Ultimate Speed Pack launching this week, I think we should hold a special event from that. I need a race like Keys to the City that I could own you all on.

If your average is above 150MPH before you hit that long straight you can easily have an average over 160MPH. It's all down to your route planning, nitrous strategery & drifting skill. The Impreza can shallow drift so well it's basically going straight but it's hard to make it do that because she likes to grip up.

Anyway, you should add me so you have a goal on your game's Autolog.
