GTHD actually looks graphically very poor compared to GT5P in those shots.
Thats because it was GT4 using photomode resolution.

Its not so much that I don't like Bikes, but why under the name "GT" should there be bikes? As I stated before, "GT" is for cars and "TT" is for Bikes. I don't want another Midnight Club/PGR Game. And bikes have an unfair advantage in comparison to cars, result in anyone chosing a car to lose automatically so thats not a good idea. And from what I read, Tourist Trophy Did really well so with all the features that game had, why assume that it didn't do as good as GT4's sales? And exacly what "Competitive Advantage" are we talking about? My position is as follows. YES include bikes in GT5 for the following reasons.
- Having bikes included would add more features and therefore increase the competive advantage of the game.
- The bikes should be seperated from the cars at least in simulation (world) mode. Meaning that bikes and cars do not race on the same track. They could even just include a seperate menu for bikes. However I would see nothing wrong with allowing players to have both bikes and cars racing at same time in say two player arcade more ( after all we are talking about a game ).
- As long as it was tastefully done I would be willing to pay a little extra for bikes to be included.
- I do not know the sales of TT, but I doubt they are even 25% of what GT4 is. So it just makes more since to me to include them as one title.
- The bottom line is that it would be extra features and I am sure that it would only add to the overall game enjoyment and not take anything away. If you do no want to use the bikes well don't. Unless they decided to include them in the sim structure with the cars. Meaning to complete the overall sim mode you would need to use bikes also. However I think this would be doubtful. If they do include them the sim bike mode would be seperate from the sim car mode.
- I would also only want the bikes included after the main features of GT5 is as good as possible. This would mean A.I., sounds, online, and simulation event structure.
- I would much rather have the bikes included if they have any plans at all for bikes. I say this because the bike portion by itself is not enough for me to purchase a seperate game.
Ps3fanboyActaully guys,
there has already been shown pictures from Gthd with race bikes!
Indeed 👍I dont even think PD would consider this. 👎
-> My first question is why?!
-> Don't we have Tourist Trophy already? That sim was a specticle and a true threat to MotoGP, but although ended up short. The game will evole as what GT did years ago, so there is no point.
-> I don't want to see GT as a wannabe PGR.![]()
I don't think most of the people that voted yes understand that you cant compare a bike to a car.
They are two totally different ideas and that's why Polyphony created Tourist Trophy.
Putting a bike and a car on a racetrack at the same time has never happened because if the car hits the bike, that bike is done and rider might be dead.
I think this idea came from PGR and you people need to understand that PGR is a horrible excuse for a simulator. The only thing i want out of that game is rain and Macau Gp Circuit.
P.S. Macau is an important racing event held annually where the Formula 3 Macua Gp takes place, Touring car Ghia Race, and Superbike racing.
Lap after lap on a bike on the macau streets.

Sorry i had to share that.
...if were talking sim's, they should remain separated.![]()
-> Or maybe PD can create a special edition of a colaboration between GT and TT, with limited amount of bike and cars 'bout 10 of each side. In which will have only 5 medium-sized tracks available as a DLC only like GTHD, just for kicks. Mainly arcade-type sim.
-> But if were talking sim's, they should remain separated.![]()
Some more moto sickness for the thread.
^while mixing bikes and cars in real life definitely could result in unsavory incidents like that geo there, since neither GT or TT have any damage effects, mixing them together in GT5 would have no negative effects on gameplay.
👍 Key Letters: GT No motorcycles please. Refer to my equations below:Hell no! GT is about cars!
^ I mean not arcade-type like PGR, more like the arcade mode in the past GT series no simulation mode with license tests, etc.Arcade-type Sim? I don't think that's a good idea. I guess i grew out of arcade games a while back and now it's real or nothing else.
