lol, that was a total guess based on a Top Gear episode

Which was the first game that the Rockingham Motor Speedway featured in officially?

Didn't we have this question before? I'm pretty sure the answer was TOCA Race Driver 1 because I answered it.

As Liquid was technically correct with TOCA Race Driver, I'll hand the next question over to him.

Although if we're being pedantic, it was never mentionned if it was Rockingham USA or Rockingham UK... The Rockingham Speedway was featured in pretty much every NASCAR game Papyrus put out, the first one, NASCAR Racing, dating back to 1994, some 8 years before TIR and TOCA.

Rockingham Motor Speedway and Rockingham Speedway are different tracks.

These days, Alonso and Button are the most experienced drivers and both are former world champions.

Which season was the last time in the 20th century that a world champion was the most experienced active driver on the grid?

Without splitting hairs, 'most experienced' is defined as highest number of race entries/starts.

I want to say Nigel Mansell then, but I also wonder whether a champion made a 1 race return or something along those lines...

Barra with the steal!

Even though De Cesaris (214, 208) was more experienced than Mansell (188, 184) at the end of 1994, De Cesaris did not attend the final two flyaway races in Japan and Australia so Mansell was the most experienced driver on those grids. Then Mansell had his brief flirtation in 1995.

Prior to that, which was a cunning exception more than an absolute, Graham Hill was Formula One's most experienced active driver from 1971-1975.

Very well done.

Yes and no. It was a Volvo, so you get the correct answer, but the year was 1998 (Rickard Rydell and Jim Richards in an S40). 1984 was won by a VK Commodore.
Since that was so quick, we might as well add on (I was actually about to edit this to be the question when Liquid replied): Since it moved to Bathurst, there have been 5 non-Ford/Holden make win the race. Volvo was one, what are the others?

Without any V8 Supercars knowledge, I'm going to throw Mercedes and Nissan in the mix with Volvo. They are in the sport now, so they could have been before as well!
