Still so close but no cigar.
I am using this website as my reference.

OK. My trivia will probably be guessed very quickly, but here goes. When was the last F1 race where no driver from Europe finished on the podium? I need the race and the drivers.

It took some digging, however:

1990 Japanese GP - 1st: Piquet (Brazilian), 2nd: Moreno (Brazilian), 3rd: Suzuki (Japanese).

According to the team boss at the time, which is the only Grand Prix Minardi ever started believing they had a realistic shot at winning?

Pierluigi Martini?

Think it was Portugal 1989 where he briefly led. One lap.

Edit: Missed the word started

Is the right answer.

According to Paul Stoddart in the book Forza Minardi!, on race morning they brimmed the tank in the spare car Verstappen drove, believing that the race wouldn't go the distance because of the rain. This turned out to be correct - but by then both cars had spun off in Turn 3 and because in both cases the engine stalled at high speed, the anti-stall didn't kick in.

GOTMAXPOWER, your turn.

I'm not very good at these so this might be a bit easy:

Who is the most recent driver to score points on their WRC debut?

How do you define "WRC debut"? Are you talking about the driver's first appearance in a WRC event? Or their first appearance in a WRC event while driving a World Rally Car?

Sebastien Chardonnet?
No but he did score on his first rally in a competitive car

First appearance on a WRC event (can be in any car).

Sebastien Ogier. Eighth place at the 2008 Rally of Mexico. Even if it was a J-WRC car.

Close but no cigar, somebody else has done it since...

After his split with Holden in 1987, which brand of car (that at the time was new to Australia) did Peter Brock endorse?
