Well I've just realised I've got the joy of trying to complete this again! I mean it's enjoyable for the most of the time but when it gets to the harder events I might just have too leave it...before I exploded with stress. Online might be a more relaxed environment. :)

It is definitely easier than the first one. After being as persistent as I can be I managed to finish this game off a while back and get my platinum for it. Still yet to get through the last series of events on Motorstorm 1 though.

To mine suprise the speed expansion pack was in the store! :embarrassed: :dopey:

Its now downloading (1mb per second, pretty good for a free service network ...)

Anyone else got it to? :dopey:

Yes, I'm really enjoying the Speed pack & have got all the qualifying trophies.
Nice selection of extra vehicles to be won. Good value for under £5!

What is the speed pack?!

Its a set of checkpoint events & includes a couple of new tracks / cars. Once you qualify on each event, you can then challenge the times of people on your friends list.

Great, I downloaded the extra pack at 600 or so MB, then installed it and waited until this evening to play it. Now it turns out I need another 608MB download to update the software! Why the hell does this very rarely happen on the 360 but happens almost every week on the PS3 for both the games and the console? :(

At least it's going quicker than the DLC.

EDIT: Wow, was it worth it. The new tracks are awesome fun and the 3 remakes feel very natural! The Rift Volcanic almost feels like it should have been made like that in the first place!

Glad you likeit after my recomendations. Must admit, it inspired me to go back & clear the rest of the Festival. Now feeling very tired & have a sore thumb.

The volcanic version of Caldera Ridge is ridiculously hard on a bike! You just keep getting melted! :(

finally weekend for me, can give it some more time. Also the adrenaline pack is out today, downloading now *excitement*

Got the adrenaline pack tonight & my partner helped me get the split screen adrenaline track trophy. Its not the weekend for me just yet so I will be back for more fun tomorrow night. The tracks seem very tricky so far.

Just the remainder of the DLC extra tracks & cars. There is not a new game mode like in the Speed pack.

Thanks for the info, I might give it a miss then. As far as I can tell you only get 2 brand new tracks, the rest are remakes of old tracks in the Volcanic version.

Yeah, I would say only get it if you are a MSPR completionist.

Hey guys, if you have 10 minutes spare time, check out my photos.
Unfortunately without music, YouTube always muted the audio because of copyright from Warner Music (i didnt even had music from them in the video).

Just been having a right blast on this again today..

With all of the review copies of ONRUSH now allowed to post pics and streams, I think I might join you and hide in here for a couple of days - great pics  easy to forget how good it all looked.

Damn I'd forgotten how awkward getting pictures from the game to USB could be with this game and MS:A. Still, had quite a bit of fun and even managed an ONRUSH style take down too - I hope to do a bit more later on once my lady has finished beating up Tyhrranoids and lets me back on the console.

These images look ace! Does it play as well as it looks ? I've got both follow up games on my backlist, I only got a PS3 at the end of the generation when GT6 came out. Played a bit of the original MS I enjoyed at the time I've been meaning to get back to it..:)

Good pics @MeanElf its not that hard at getting pics off it, still 100 times easier than the xbox consoles...hehe
Okay, not actually hard, just a tortuous process.

Cheers 👍 Pacific Rift and Apocalypse play very easily; MS:RC not so much though (well, not for me with the top-down view not being my favourite - it is fun however and very enjoyable.) They are all an improvement on the original, smoother handling. If you enjoyed the first then I'd say you'll definitely enjoy the rest as they're simply more of the first, more refined and Apocalypse is somewhat mental too. Have fun.

Thanks for the recommendation ! Im only about half way through playing the original MS so lots of fun to be had. I'm so far behind everyone else on here on GTP Ive got the vast majority of the previous gen and this gen driving/racing games to play. Thanks to you lovely bunch I'm picking them all up and lining them up. I love it here! :gtpflag:

Good stuff mr @MeanElf having played these games again last two days, i just ordered onrush, hope its at least half the fun of these..:)
Shall we say that I found myself pulling ONRUSH tricks in Motorstorm though it's more satisfying crushing other vehicles in ONRUSH itself. Before you buy, which platform are you going for? I say this as I remember you prefer 60fps. The Xbox 1X has this but the regular one does not, at least not yet (they're still working on that.) Both PS4's have 60fps but the game looks better on the XB1X apparently. Just in case you didn't know.
