Any of you guys have a favourite movie or TV Show that nobody seems to like?

My guilty pleasure comes from the show My Life Me, I can totally understand why people despise the show (writing errors, looks outdated (this came out in 2010) overruse of anime effects etc.) but I find joy when watching it because of the Characters and some of the writing is pretty hilarious albeit, cheesy.

This is one of my favourite episodes from the show

...Cricket. No really. No one in my circle of family/friends like this sport. But I do!! Well okay I didn't start off liking it but somewhere along the line the bug caught me. And now, I follow it more than any other sport, seriously.

I think you all probably can guess what am i.

And Adventure Time, Steven Universe, Regular Show, and We Bare Bears for the cartoons. Watership Down, Plague Dogs, Austin Powers, and some others for the movies.

I thought Adventure Time and Regular Show are very popular?

Yes. But not the kind you talk publicly on the classroom or on random people.

Yes, some of my so called friends is a bit bigot and hate something remotely western animated unless its a movie like pixars. I managed to have a quite large number of people who know these shows fully, but right now for the large audience I probably talked about some anime instead.

And hey, Regular Show Movie coming out, lol..

Family Guy but not just any Family Guy episode:

Seahorse Seashell Party.

I like this episode purely on how it made me feel multiple emotions. Anger, Shock, Scared, Happy, Amazement etc. I'll admit that the message that they were trying to get to the viewers is pretty stupid (like in all Family Guy episodes that try to give you a message).

Not anymore, but I - for some reason - was hooked on Project Runway through the first 2 seasons. I have no interest in fashion. I have no understanding of fashion. I wasn't just watching it for the models or Heidi Klum (although she is... yeah...👍). I was not introduced to the show by anyone else.

I mean, I would watch Project Runway one night, then The Ultimate Fighter another night, all wrapped around my obsession with baseball. I am not the Project Runway type. I can't explain it. I really liked that show.

I actually get some enjoyment from watching thw Bayblade Metal Saga although the reason why I like it so much is because it is so bad. It tries to be serious about Metal Tops spinning which is just hilarious to watch.

In terms of movies, I actually really liked the Alvin and the Chimpmunks movies.

The music wasn't too bad, the plot was actually better than I would expect from movies about singing Chimpmunks and the Characters were pretty well made (though Alvin was a bit too hipster-ish) the 3rd Movie had a very nice resolution between old enemies and had pretty good character interactions (though how it ended was 🤬)

I actually like watching Street Outlaws (streets are closed down by police i know) and Top Gear USA .

TNA Impact Wrestling appears to be a guilty pleasure nowadays, since it is considered the biggest joke in Professional Wrestling, but I like how much they are trying to please people with such a shocking roster nowadays unlike WWE who don't even try until the fans start to revolt.

The Amazing World of Gumball

This show is just hilarious. Not in the cute, kiddy humor type of way as it would seem if you saw just a photo of it but in a witty type of way. Plus, how well the 2D and 3D elements go together is really cool; very nicely animated. My favorite show on Cartoon Network.

I saw one episode of it, I really didn't get how it could be a guilty pleasure, looked like a good quality show IMO.

A recent film guilty pleasure of mine is The Expendables 3

The film was mediocre compared to the previous (and best) one, Although Mel Gibson was brilliant in his role. That's what happens when you remove Chuck Norris.
But every time I watch it I laugh at its absurdity (I guess being a throwback to the old '80's action films and all), more so than the others. All it needs is Michael Bay to be a director for the next film, then my life would be complete :sly:
