20 gig Creative Zen touch. Ipod beating sound quality and battery life, but not quite as user friendly, and abit bigger. Cost less though XD. I love it. I use a pair of Sony MDR-EX71SLW ear phones, though mine are black.

You're cool.

I have an Archos Dumpster. I think it was designed to withstand a 20,000 foot freefall.

It's ugly and it's a piece of ****. I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT!!!

Fair enough, atleast if you get annoyed with it and drop it, it lives. I'm pretty sure hitting it with a hammer in between the shock absorbers would kill it.

What must the target buyer be for that? Builders who need portable hard disks?

£185 for a player which has a 40GB hard dive and colour screen for photo's, plus it's not an iPoD 👍 which IMO are a triumph of marketing more than anything else.

That annoys me :yuck:

That's sweet

Can i swap you my triumph of maketing mini 4gb for that?:drool::lol:

Sony is giving that away for free with a computer my dad bought(Vaio). My sis has it.Anyway, I have an iRiver H320 with some Sony MDREX71SL headphones. It's sweet, AND it plays video VERY well.

I've got a set of wireless headphones for my PC, so technically I've got a hard drive based mp3 player (with a very high capacity :D ) anywhere within ~150metres of my PC.

I've also got a Sony Net MD MN-N707 Type R (not sure why it's a Type R, don't think it's got VTEC) Mini Disc player. I hardly ever use it now, because you have to convert mp3s to put them on and it's disk-based :(

Well said. :)

I've got a PSP. It does mp3's, movies, PS2 quality games, and wireless internet, all in one sleek package! I'm even making this post from it. /brag

used to have: phillips key 013 256MB
now have: some nice cheap Logik 512MB Mp3 player. its cheap and i needed a replacement for the audourous car journey on monday

I have a CD player that plays MP3s, but I have only used that once or twice, and then it broke. 👎 :ouch:

Then, I bought the 20 GB iPod, and next to my camera, it's one of my most favorite things. 👍 :)

A bought a creative muvo tx because i was sick of carting all my music around on my laptop. Then i got sick of it's storage, or the lack of it. I only managed to fit 30 wma songs on it, despite it being 128mb . So, i had a look around to see what else there was, and the only thing decent and not an ipod was a packard bell audiodream 1gb. But, that was very near the price of an ipod mini, so i set my sights on that. I had a look for cheaper stuff, but for £140, all i could find were cheap ripoff versions by companys called somehthing like tomahumatsucra. Normal ipods had lots of competition, but ipod minis, not so much. So, i saved up for an ipod mini 4gb, and i bought it.

I think Type R just means that it is Recorder. I had a few MDplayers but they kept breaking themselves so i bought the Vaio on previous page

I need an amp. I want Ray Samuels to release his damn Hornet already. I'm so getting one.

Have you guys ever tried amping your portables? it makes such a difference...and it's a given for big headphones like I own.
