Class 3 is gonna be a good race
 
The car list for class 3 is official now. All of these cars should be within a second or two of each other.
 
Why dont you just go toned down lmp's for class 1 and just your class 3. Too many classes would cut down racing battles.

I like the 3 class system, but I do think we could tune down the lmp cars so there would be a interclass battle. If you would like to enter go ahead and sign up.

I would like to host and compete in a 2.4 hour endurance race @ daytona road course. I would like to have 3 classes of cars. Each class would have up to 4 competitors. I haven't decided the date because I was not sure if anyone was interested. I enjoy races with multiple classes driving at the same time. I would like to name the classes. If you have a class system you would like to share then by all means share it. This is the class system I have constructed.

The race will have 3 classes.
Class 1, either lmp or FIA gt1 style prototype cars. Let me know which will be better.
Class 2, lm race cars ex. mazda rx8 lm race car, acura nsx lm race car, etc. Full performance upgrades.
Class 3, tc, other race cars. Mostly no performance upgrades. Some do, however

RULES AND REGULATIONS

YOU MUST EXIT PIT ROAD LIKE THE REAL ROLEX 24@ DAYTONA CARS DO. ANYONE WHO DOESN'T WILL BE PENALIZED.

No aids except for abs.
Grip reduction: real
Slipstream strength: weak
Tire Wear/Fuel consumption: on
Visible damage: off
Mechanical Damage: weak
Boost: off
Penalty: none
Start type: grid w/false start check

TIME PENALTY FOR MECHANICAL DAMAGE:

IF YOU CRASH AND YOU GET MECHANICAL DAMAGE, YOU MUST PIT WITHIN THE NEXT 2 LAPS. YOU WILL PAUSE THE GAME AND SIT IN YOUR PIT STALL FOR 30 SECONDS BEFORE COMPLETING YOUR STOP AND RETURNING TO THE TRACK. IF YOU DON'T YOU WILL RECEIVE A 2 MINUTE PENALTY FOR EACH OFFENCE ADDED TO YOUR TOTAL TIME.

CAUTION FLAG:

IF MORE THAN 1 CAR IS INVOLVED IN A CRASH. YOU MAY ASK FOR A CAUTION. IF THE CAUTION IS GRANTED, THE LEADER WILL SLOW UP AND ALLOW EACH CAR TO CATCH UP. EACH CAUTION FLAG PERIOD WILL BE 3 LAPS. AS SOON AS EVERYONE CATCHES UP, YOU MAY PIT. ALL 3 CLASSES PIT ON THE SAME CAUTION LAP. PARTICIPANTS INVOLVED IN THE CRASH MAY SERVE THEIR DAMAGE PENALTY UNDER CAUTION. ANYONE WHO CHOOSES TO STAY OUT MAY TAKE A WAVE AROUND. HE WILL CHARGE AROUND THE TRACK AND TRY TO GET A LAP BACK. ONCE EVERYONE IS OUT OF THE PITS. CARS WILL LINE UP IN THE ORDER THEY CAME OUT OF THE PITS. THE NEXT TIME AROUND WILL BE 1 TIL GREEN. THE LEADER CONTROLS THE START. HE MAY START ANYTIME AFTER NASCAR TURN 4. YOU CANNOT PASS ANYONE IN THE SAME CLASS AS YOU UNTIL YOU GET TO THE START/FINISH LINE. FASTER CLASSES ARE ALLOWED TO PASS THE SLOWER CARS. A PIT STOP PENALTY WILL BE REQUIRED. IF YOU DO NOT SERVE YOUR PENALTY, YOU WILL BE DISQUALIFIED.

Ok we will need to work on a tune that will not be too fast. The zr-1 is already fast stock. If you could run another car then that's great, but we could work something out. Friend me so we can work this out.
 
I have tested and approved 4 cars already for class 2

1.) Mazda RX-7 LM Race Car
2.) 350Z Concept LM Race Car
3.)NSX-R Prototype LM Race Car
4.) Nissan GT-R Concept LM Race Car

What do you think about using the new specs for the daytona prototype in the rolex sports car series for class 1 in this race whenever they come out? This will make the race more competitive.

Friend me on PSN and we can test the different classes if you like. That goes for everyone else interested. If I am not in a series race or anything I will be glad to test.

Can i drive with the courage C60 from 2003 ( i 'm not sure about the car name ) its the green pescarolot car ...
btw, i think we should drive the lmp's with less than 600hp so the rear tirewear equals the front tirewear ... but it's just an idea ... i don't want to make any publicitys for another website , but they use specific weight and power for each car , and the Races are sooo INTENSE ... but it's not easy to get the cars allright before race if you don't trust the others ... :)

Hey CND, I just wanted to let you know that PURE offers free car specification sets for Grand-Am Rolex Daytona racing.

They've been raced already and have proven themselves to be well balanced so feel free to use them if you'd like.

Then you won't have to take so much time to test and can just start practicing with your drivers and focus on getting your regulations right.

Also, I wanted to let you know that you must drop the third class. Three classes with 16 slots per room has never, ever, worked and it simply kills the racing and the series that attempt to run three classes. Just trust me, I've been here a looong time. Just a fair heads up.

Yes you are in. I will release the lmp specs within a few weeks. They will have somewhere between 475-500 bhp.
