Aren't they coming out with the Magnum/Charger (name is undecided as of yet)? Supposed to be a rwd sedan/wagon, with a big block(?) under the hood. Correct me if I'm wrong. I'll post pics later, if I can pry myself away from my PS2.

Yeah I meant other than the Viper, I was talking about Camaro Range. The Super 8 (or whatever it is going to be called, not the wagon though) has like 330 HP Hemi and rear wheel drive. But the thing that disappoints me is a stock 215 hp FF SRT-4 can beat it (to 60, buy about .3 seconds). Dont get me wrong, the SRT4 is an incredible car, which performs better than what you would think by just looking at the numbers, kind of like the Chrysler Crossfire. If you shop by the numbers, you'd really be missing something...

OMG! that mustang cobra is wicked. cool powerful ride!!! Id like to know how much the mods costed, Id like to know just how expensive would be to supercharge a car. Im ot thinking Mod Engine, btw, Im thinking an honest to god 302 :D

Cano

so, how much?

thank you!
the cobra is my personal money pit.

i quit counting when it hit $10k but i do have a file that i append when i get something new...
i think i have over $6k in labor alone
2300 to remove and replace the motor
1000 to put parts from my motor on the new shortblock
2700 to fix a header leak (motor had to come out)

then parts...

600 headerss
300 power pipe
900 cams
1100 heads
350 MSD
6k SHM Shortblock (1500 deposit)
400 Canton pan/windage tray
500 accufab throttle body
150 modules to connect the MSD
200 fuel pumps (two 295 lph units)
35 shift knob

not all parts were NECESSARY, and many are left to upgrade like the trans, rear-end gears and clutch...my stalling point there is that i can't imagine spending 800 on a mcLoed clutch until i change to a transmisison that can handle putting close to 600 HP to the ground. since different trans uses different clutch, i just don't want to do it 2x. :D

to supercharge a 302-based car, figure about 6k dollars including all installation, tuning, ignition upgrades, fuel system upgrades, and more tuning.

it will prolly end up a lot less than that, but if there's a problem, you know you're gonna have to foot the bill.
