Yeah...spend about 75-150 bucks every few months because the CV joint went bad because he keeps puncturing the boot...

Those boots are expendable. Sacrifices, man. I've got a buddy who's MK4 golf is so low the passenger side driveshaft is grinding a notch in the frame rail from hitting bumps. He calls it "completely normal". One time when he let me drive it I got high centered on a rippled section of road, had to back up and try it again. It was retarded.

Sacrifices of what, being dumb? Heard about low done proper? One thing is a self-notching frame rail, never heard of a drive shaft snapping because of grinding. You will though destroy the boot, pretty damn quickly.
Oh, and I do that.. Getting stuck I mean :)

Oh, and a grinding drive shaft isn't only about being low, but having big wheels and being low.

Found some pics of old on my drive I've never posted or even hosted.. :)

How long did it take to get to that speed? I didn't think it was possible

It may not be that powerful, but Eirik probably owns one of the lightest cars on GTP, save for someone like Roo with his Mini. I've eaten heavier pizzas than Eirik's car weighs  Plus, it's tiny so not much air resistance. 110mph is entirely possible. My 60bhp Fiesta could manage roughly 100 and it weighed probably 100kg more.

20$ says it was up on jacks when it hit 110.

You just lost 20 bucks mate :)
It goes well for what it is, but I've never tried to break any barriers in it.. If you think this is extreme you shoulda seen my face when I had 120 mph on the speedo in a stock KE70, 65 bhp :D

I'm hoping to get tires on the Atiwe wheels I've got for the Daihatsu next week, right now I'm on hols.. Have talked to the coilover supplier about shorter struts, I may also need to buy/fabricate camber plates for the rear to get the wheels on. Or just hammer the hell out of the arches.. :D

Hello can you tell me the part number for these ,,,thanks,,,i dont see them in their site.

Bilstein shockers, bought from Camskill.co.uk. Thanks, Mike!
Combined with 40/40 lowering springs, lower strut bars and upper tower bars all around, I think my suspension is going to be fairly stiff.
Anyway, some pics for viewing.
