My little story *yes its long* and now its complete

Funny thing about girls they will get you to spend money you didn't plan on spending.
Wait until you get married. You start spending on stuff that is for "us" even though you think that picture looks god awful ugly and would prefer your ALMS poster. And we have separate checking accounts. I would hate to see what would happen if we had joint acounts.

Awww, you kids are going to be fine. Life is full of heartbreak and really odd situations like this, and you just have to roll with them. Its too bad that neither of you really were getting what you wanted (or at least appeared to be wanting), but things often find a weird way of working themselves out.

...I'd suggest taking her out to dinner, thats how I usually do my stuff...

So hold on...She's your exgirlfriend and yet she gave you your first kiss?

I was expecting an ending like "so we did it like spider monkeys and now she's preggers and moving away forever. Should I drive down and see the kid after its born or should I just be thankful she's moving away and forget about her and just pay child support?"

This ending seems lame and lacking a point. I mean jeez, you didn't even get to second base, Lame-O!

Yeah, I was expecting something like that too. No pregnancy test, no pepperspray, no nothing? And you should've defo gone for a homerun dude, Def-O!

I do hope you're joking. Knowing that you're Doug, I assume so, so I'll let it slide...

Brad I can name two things under my hood for you: the battery and the washer fluid reservoir.

That is presuming the valve cover is in fact under the hood.

On your Audi its a bit more difficult to find, as I'm pretty sure yours has a HUGE plastic shroud over it.

*Bumpo*

^ and yes I am saving for a car. Funny thing about girls they will get you to spend money you didn't plan on spending.

Seems to be the other way round for me.
Money Spent during the last 2 weeks:

Car - $500+ supercharger pulley kit/fuel management/tons of various engine seals

Girl - $9.50 Transformers movie, well worth it considering I wasn't dragged to the movies to watch some chick flick.

And she still puts up with me. :)

Here is my idiot test: where is the carbuerator on your Audi? Of course, there is a giant plastic shield over everything, but just tell me basically where it is

(shhh.. no one tell him!)

I know what it feels like to have the sort of night you've just described, Kenneth - there's a certain 'performance pressure' which makes it very difficult to relax and just go with the flow..., and things don't always go according to plan as a result. It's always a bit of a risky business when you're dealing with real emotions, but it sounds like you handled things like a real pro and a gentleman... I like the little details you've included in your story, like the fact that you couldn't stand anything on the radio on the way home 'for some reason'... I can relate to that - sometimes you just want to be alone with your thoughts...

Hopefully you two won't find it too difficult to stay in touch after Nicole moves... geography isn't my strong point, but even I know that Georgia is a long way from Seattle... however, the fact that you both acknowledge how much you mean to each other before she goes is a really great thing - unfortunately, separation and being able to handle difficult emotional situations is a part of adult life... but so is being able to stay friends with someone you care about without necessarily being 'boyfriend-girlfriend', and being there for each other in the future - even if you live far apart.

Good luck to you both - I'm lucky enough to still have some friends from back when I was 18, and they mean a hell of alot to me today...

We have emissions testing in Colorado so I know it's not carb'd - I'm not stupid - I didn't just buy a 25-year-old high mileage Porsche!

Good job! I have a friend with a Evo 8 that acted all confused and said something about it being under the air filter when confronted with this question.

So, are you saying someone that does is stupid? :P

Sadly the only way to see the valve cover on the 911 is through the rear wheel well, or from underneath!!
