You dont have an idea of how much I enjoyed going trough your blog. Your work is really, really good, I love the abstract pieces the most. It's been a while since I found an automotive artist that really got me interested, the effects of speed and motion that you achieve are very cool, and your technique with the pencils is uncanny... been a while since I found someone who, like me, works with colour pencils!
My favorite has got to be the 1970 Targa florio picture with the houses and sky in abstract mode and the cars charging towards you. It really kicks.
I'll be following you on devart or something, your auto art is really cool, pretty refreshing to say the least.
I was going to ask if you sold prints... apparently you do. I'm really digging the Alfa.
Depresses me that I never was able to take that Fine Arts course... but c'est la vie.
Thanks Cano, it's all ways nice to hear the fellow artist opinion, much appreciated. I would also like to see your work, please post the link to your gallery.
Good stuff, I like the Monza 72 painting, somehow you can hear the deep echo with all the dampness there.
How about a painting of Pedro Rodriguez at Brands Hatch in 1970? The 917 in evocative pose against the backdrop of murk and English advertising hoardings would make for a great one.
So do you trace, or freehand? Ha, just joking! You're a very gifted artist, keep it up. Do you take request? I'd like to see an artistic rendering of my truck.
Thanks mate, unfortunately i don't do requests at the moment maybe some time later, will see... Here is my latest drawing btw.
