My Progress Through Halo

Ok. After completing it on normal mode, I have decided to attempt legendary. So far I've reached Level 3, and it's starting to get extremely difficult (taken me a week to do so far). But luckily, I have a sniper rifle, so it should be relatively simple to do the first part of the level until I enter the Covanant ship, which I'm expecting to be near impossible, especialy with the Hunters and Elites with the Sword (I will carry on though and make sure that I complete this game before Halo 2 comes out).

I'm dreading the driving level.

I love that game, and yes - legendary is extremely hard. I'm stuck in the mission that begins just after you enter the ship.

Would that level be the first time you have to rescue Captain Keyes? I've just started that level.

Ok. I have now entered the Covenant Ship, and it's extremly difficult to survive the main onslaught.

Just as I thought, the elites with swords are almost impossible.

wait until those dumb Vega type guys come after you on legnedary.. I started on heroic and beat it in 3 days and tried on legendary and its been 1.5 weeks and I'm only about halfway through.. I keep running out of ammo, it's alot easier using 2 players so one player can stay back in case you die and get respawned instead of starting way back at a checkpoint lol

I beat the game today on Normal too, and when I tried Legendary I got slapped in the face. I can't get pass the first friggin level. Im gonna do heroic before legendary

Ok. I have now reached level 4, which now doubt will be very tough.

Now Level 5. 4 was easier than I thought.

Have now reach the point in level 6 where the flood start carrying weapons. It is very very very hard, especially that dude with the shotgun.

Ok. Have now started level 7, which is hard enough on normal, so god knows how this is going to turn out.

Luckily, Shotguns are aplenty (and I'll need them) so we will see.

I hate first person view games,and,I'm not to interested in Halo because i don't like games that are fake such as Aliens,im just saying this because I baught this game for $50 and I had to drive my Honda Crapper all the way back to the mall and return it,the mall is at least 20 miles away from my house man,so i traded it for my money and I baught the best computer game ever called Gaytor Boyz (my opinion)hehe

I think the game is great...

I especially enjoy the co-play or multi-player part...

When you play it together it's a blast sneaking up on the enemy and taking them out...awesome.

The sniper rifle is a BLAST!

Yeah the Sniper Rifle is awsome, just a shame that it dosen't work on the Flood.

Am now a quarter of the way through on level 8.

Hot Damn!

Finally completed Halo on legendary last night. The alternative ending was cool.

Anyone wanting to try this difficulty setting, I have a few tips:

1. use the melee attack on the infection flood if there are not too many about.

2. If there are too many to use the melee attack, use the Assult Rifle in short controlled bursts. It is actually more effective than using the shotgun.

3. Never use plasma grenades on the flood unless you are sure you can escape, otherwise if it sticks to one, it'll chase you and blow you up.

4. Use the melee attack on sleeing grunts.

Oh and BTW - You only have 5 minutes to get off the ship in "The Maw" instead of 6, so I strongly advise you just carrying on driving past the drop off point, and keep going until you reach the next escape route.

Once you can drive no-futher, get out quick and run like hell.

It's kind of hard driving an 8 inch model car to a mall isnt it?.
