Thanks Mr Latte.

I was following your old project almost every day but sadly for some troll the topic was been closed:grumpy:
My cockpit is still work in progress and I will update this 3d regulary:)

Hey thanks...
Still working on my own, (I joke about how long its taken me) personal issues have been a factor amongst other things and kinda lost interest in updating it's slow progress. Hasn't stopped me continuing to spend lots on components though.

Simvibe made me consider a re-think, a rather costly one too (high end tactile/amplification) and just ordered (another expensive upgrade idea) going for "Clarke Tactile" isolators for my base platform and seat this week.

Went for 8x of these for the base support

4x of these for the seat

Also 4x of these

One day I will get to enjoy it all (maybe) well just a step or two closer every so often keeps me going...
Keep up the good work on your own always nice to see other peoples ideas and handy work...

Great:)do you consider to open a new thread?would be awesome mate!

It would soon become boring as really progress will still be rather slow. I'm currently working 60+ hrs a week in my business and got lots more to save to buy bits n bobs I want too. So better to maybe one day do a thread when it is done showing photo's I've taken along the way.

That's what others do after-all rather than a shopping list thread the original became.

UPDATE 26/09/2012
Here is a new video(sorry for the bad quality!it's the iphone S4 )

I'm waiting for the ButtKicker simulation Kit!
For the new steering wheel, I'm still undecided because I could opt for the T500rs that is sold here in Israel(600euro:grumpy:) but I have read some negative opinions about the t500rs ffb and I would like to go for the CSR-Elite or the CSW!Fanatec doesn't ship to Israele but I can commission my Italian friend to buy it and ship it to me from Italy!
But the CSR-elit/CSW have both a lot of reliability issues,so I have a lot of doubts!

hehe, this is true. But once I move I've promised myself that the last mod will be the last and that it. Partly because its the most expensive but also partly because there isn't an inch on the rig that hasn't been touched in some way. It was fun, but there is a final stage. I'm in that now. took a year to reach it. You'll do the same at some point.

Yep, you are right !but after the ButtKicker,CSW/CSE-ELITE,Perfect pedals,I will ,maybe, upgrade my cockpit with some motion kit. at that point I can say enough is enough!

For the record when my beta CSW broke, Fanatec expediently (1.5 weeks from initial "wheel is broke" email to receiving it) replaced it with a working one. It was relatively painless. Just don't throw out your Logitech.

Hi all!
I'm still working in my home-made cockpit( industrial design)! I added;
1- 2 BKG2.
2- a new tablet to use with DashMeterPro for rfactor( very important during endurance races).
3-SimVibe software.
Here some new screenshots(sorry for the low quality, i taked them with my iphone 4s!).
