Yeah, 3 and 4 is hard to master, and if you hit the apron your screwed

You know, since you were such a good sport earlier when I was messing with you, go ahead and send me a friend request (cargorat323) and I'll help you out with how to set up your car and teach you how to run the Motegi Speedway.

What about the rest of us?💡

I guess he skipped your post.

I see a lot of jibber jabber going on, but not a lot of tunes posted for the Motegi setup. In fact, no full tunes posted for more than two weeks. Just my opinion but I think if you're going to participate on this thread and are working on the car, you should be posting your tune because that's the purpose of the thread isn't it?:sly: After all the title of the thread isn't,

"I'm Going to Tell Everyone About How Fast I am and How Long my Tires Will Last but Not Post my Tune"...:)

wow, thanks man, I can't do it till wednesday though(hopefully, a 3mbps connection isn't all that fast):ouch:
A 3mbps down and 756kbps up connection is good enough. I ran that same speed with GT5 for over a year and could even host rooms online.

I'm pretty sure you're a good enough driver that you don't need my help. I'm only helping the kid out because he's clearly having a hard time with how to tune a car and how to get around Motegi. You, on the other hand, already have a grasp on how to tune and drive. I'm not an alien, but if I can help the kid get going in the right direction, all the better.

my only problem is I'm going to be using a wireless connection(and my ISP told me I needed a 10mbps to game online)
Your ISP is only trying to sell you a better package ;). Your speed is good enough to race online and for you to hop in your lounge to work on an online tune.

If your wireless is unstable it's probably because of your router. You can run a cable from your router to your PS3 and it will help.

kid?? who you callin kid:mad: nah at 16 I'm pretty much still considered a kid I guess:P

Well, since I'm 46, you're a kid to me, lol. Anyway, its just a simple term I use. Nothing personal is meant by it.
Also, I have been using 4 megs with a wireless router since release and have had no problems at all. Even hosted nightly Daytona rooms without a problem so you should be fine. Your ISP is always going to tell you something in order to get you to spend more money.

In the Challenger RM I was able to get 21 laps in an online race. I know it's a different car that's much slower, but by doing an overall of 4 laps more (In two stints) and an accidental early pit that made me come in early I undercut by 10 seconds and won. It was against Niop (And others, naturally), anyone who's in on the NASCAR scene around here should know who I'm on about.

Rake is very useful for downforce, the difference was about 20. Camber wasn't that high, toe was all negative.

Also it was a tune that Niop himself gave out before the race (Which is why I'm not giving too much away.) and during race told us was a qualifying tune. So, take what you will from that if anything is too be taken. Just my two cents.

alright, thanks for the help KB18FAN, and thats exactly what I thought was that they were telling me I needed a 10mbps connection so I had to spend more money. Anyways, hope to see you on the track soon bro:tup:

No problem. Glad to be of assistance. Peace.

your cars gonna tighten up in the draft so if its a little loose running solo it may drive better in the draft

And he's not racing in the King of Daytona. :sly: (At least not at the time I was)
Toss me a link.

Well, we consider him the king of the GTP Sprint Cup. ;)

Can't link ATM as I'm on the app, but Drop may give you one :)

Slow down there, Matty, I'm not king of anything. I just have a big passion for NASCAR in this game.

Anyway, I'll contribute to the thread and post my full HP tune:
Aero: 50/70
Trans: 218(sorry, I don't have all the specific gearing handy)
LSD: 12/15/5
RH: 15/7
SR: 20.0/15.5
Ext: 9/3
Comp: 8/8
ARB: 1/2
Camber: 2.3/2.0
Toe: -0.15/-1.00
Brakes: 2/2
Best lap: 28.879(tyre wear off)
Unsure what my best lap was with tyre wear on, but I could make it 11 laps max with RS compound.

You....You've doomed us all....:scared:

With those car limits, do you ever even have spots open in that series? Seems to be based out of country, with the time zones and flags I'm seeing, ever run into issues with connectivity etc?

Sprint Cup is filled up, but the Nationwide teams aren't full yet. It looks like 3 teams still have open seats, so you may want to contact the team owners if interested. That or give the preseason race a try on Saturday. Here's a link showing the current teams and drivers: https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?p=7380722#post7380722

Last week we had 16 car field in Nationwide @Motegi with drivers from all over the world, no lag to speak of. 👍
