Restart rule
NASCAR has changed its restart rules by eliminating the rule that the second-place driver cannot beat the leader to the start-finish line.

The second-place driver still cannot restart before the leader in the restart zone, but the second-place driver can beat the leader to the line.

P.s. so i would not get penalty for beat leader to the start/finish line. When Leader inside restart box than I go.
I wouldn't get spot back.​

Alan, you gave the spot back, you're fine. It wasn't about you beating him to the line, it was about you restarting before him. Which if i quote you "2nd place cannot go before leader, but can beat him to the line." You jumped the start.

It would, unfortunately. I don't know if he did. He didn't say anything about it, though he did save replays. Which I think *ehhmm* he should upload regardless possibly. Though I could be biased because I won lol.

It may be an official nascar rule, but I think when trobes sees this, this may be his thinking. It is to far into the season, to change a rule that we have stuck with the whole time. That's what I'd feel trobes would say at least. I don't know though, can't speak for him. Your thoughts Trobe?
