Mike Bliss Turns around Kyle Busch. Seeing as he had enough time to slow down and go to the outside or inside and after what he said about Kyle last week, I think this was intentional.

Denny Hamlin wins the Kansas Lottery 250 and with that win, Toyota snags the manufacterers title! "Begins dancing"

Well, Kyle is out of the chase, no matter what anyone says. That just 11(granted they finish).

Biffle Round 1... Biffle Round 2... Jimmie Johnson for Round 3. Up next, Talladega. Boy... did Carl Edwards ever make a desperate attempt to cash in the win!? Well, good luck trying a bold win at Round 4- Talladega! Now I'm not going to hate on Carl Edwards because I like Carl Edwards. He made a very desperate move to try to take care of Jimmie Johnson for the win. That move didin't work. What would have been more exciting would be if Edwards and Johnson went at it like the end of the 2003 race at Darlington (that memorable finish).

Bob Dillner was talking about how it's too early to write off anyone just yet. By Talladega, we'll all know who will be in and who will be out on winning the 2008 Sprint Cup. By then, we'll get a better idea as to who may be done this season and who still has a whole lot to play for.

Finally, I got to send a shout out to Jeff Gordon for a lovely finish despite flu-like symptoms. There's nothing I'd love more than a resurgence of Jeff Gordon and race like he's never raced all season long.

Desperate? Yes. Deserving? Yes

Sorry if i sound stupid but where is Tony Stewart going next year?
(I can only watch the odd race)

He'll be driving for his own team Stewart-Haas Racing along with Ryan Newman.

Yeah, but could it be (and I know it's early) too late? I mean, if Jeff Gordon's going to make a statement, now is the time to do it. A fifth championship for the #24 sounds pretty nice now, doesn't it? Talladega still remains the wild card in all of this. While Darlington is called "The Lady in Black." Well, consider Talladega as her twisted sister. Just remember not to throw crap on the race track if Jeff Gordon wins at 'Dega.

Am I the only one who don't like NASCAR anymore since they included Toyota and those ugly rear spoilers? I Also don't like that every car looks exactly the same. In the beginning of the 21st century there were at least a little difference between the car makes in the sport.

I agree with you about the CoT. Worse thing that ever came along in my opinion and it still hasn't done what it promised and its the most horrid looking thing ever(Right up there with the 2009 Spec F1 car). There is the Nationwide series thankfully, which hasn't switched yet, but unfortunately will come 2010. I'm surprised however that you have a problem with Toyota. Its mostly been americans and the "Us Vs. Them" Mentality, but whats your problem with Toyota?

I don't like japanese cars in the mother of american motorsport. The same with Toyota bodies in funny car.

Damn I sound like an american.. :indiff:

The F1 cars aren't going to be spec next year, they'll all be different and each one will have it's own little quirks, but the front and rear wing designs will be much different than this year's chassis.

And I also agree with those who hate the CoT, I loved the concept, but the results have been less than desirable.

Figured this was a good place to post this:

Gordon is getting a new scheme for next year, and it was revealed this morning of the TODAY show:

I like it, I've even made a skin of it for NASCAR 09.

From,
Chris.

The ARCA Re/MAX 250 is on right now. The points battle between Scott Speed and Ricky Stenhouse Jr. is very close.

Justin Allgaier won the ARCA Remax 250. The Truck race is about to become hectic.

Edit: Todd Bodine wins the Mountain 250. What a Race!

I was mad at my Texans giving up a 17-lead over Indy... now I'm sad Jeff Gordon's car was pushed in the garage area. Pretty bad sports Sunday for me.

Very controversial finish, Regan Smith passed Tony Stewart under the yellow line after Stewart blocked him earlier. Stewart was declared the winner.

Man, that was crazy. Tony Stewart wins Talladega(albeit by the admins decision) And wow, only five guys in the chase finished. Just when I thought Kyle and Tony were out of it, This now changes things. Denny Hamlin However has to be out of it, period, but I really hope he's okay.

Regan won that. Nascar says that if it's the last lap and you see the finish line, yellow line means nothing. Pathetic move Nascar. Pathetic.

You're just mad Kenseth wrecked. To be honest even being a Stewart fan I have to say that the 01 car did something illegal, I read nowhere that the rules change on the last lap which would be BS.

aaarrrggghhh!!!!

At least Carl Edwards was man enough to admit that he caused the wreak (or at least take the blame), unlike some other drivers... COUGHkarmabuschCOUGH
