After reading this, I absolutely agree. Hell, I regret saying what I said.
JohnBM01Do you think Toyota will win at least five more races before the season ends? Who do you think will be the highest-placed Toyota driver in NASCAR when the season ends?
RACECARI do and I'm thinking that With gibbs being the strongest toyota team, one of those drivers, possibly Kyle, most likely be the highest placed driver
RACECARI'm just gonna say this: you can't stop domination. They really think is this is gonna stop Toyota? Sooner or later, someone is gonna figure that configuration out and beat everyone with it
There are other things like those Nascar race report commercials and there they always talk about how one redneck hit another redneck and so forth. :shrugs:
RACECARWhat point is there to post your "Nascrap" BS in a NASCAR oriented forum?
EarthSeriously, motorsport fans need to quit being such elitests and start respecting other forms of motorsports they don't prefer.
Is it too hard to respect both the raw driving, low technology, close racing of NASCAR, the high speed, high technology of openwheel racing and the endurance of sports car racing?
I'm sure NASCAR fans have their degrading terminology they use for openwheel etc.
All this nonsense is just sickening now.
I agree with almost every word there - despite the fact that I never actually hated Kyle. Guys like Solid Fro can't possibly hold on to the Karma Busch stuff for that long - it was one spin, ages ago...
That article also holds true for many other motorsports, too. Many Brits and Spaniards hate the opposite side of the Alonso/Hamilton dispute - but fact is, both of them are (relatively) young drivers with talent and skill that few others have, both with many successful years ahead of them, and while they might never be best buddies, they'll have to get along some time. Busch and Earnhardt, too.

Oh... you underestimate me, I don't forget.
Looking at this video, I find it funny how Jr gets over it yet his fans aren't able to do so and that they used to cheer for a guy who wrecked people all the time to win Whereas none of Kyle's wins came in the form of turning someone around. Pure irony.
Jr. must be a better man than I am because I would have wrecked Karma Busch at the first opportunity I got.
And people still wonder why NASCAR has that reputation...

You know, I've been watching NASCAR since I was oh... 7 or 8 years old, it must have been. I have never seen Sr. wreck someone without justification. If Sr. was racing today, Karma Busch would have been in the wall at Daytona.
Oh... you underestimate me, I don't forget.
Tony Stewart has named Darian Grubb as crew chief for his #14 car
David Stremme is said to be the replacement for Newman in the 12 car.
Joey Logano will drive the #02 Home Depot car next week and will do five races in the #96 Toyota.
I totally agree with the expansion of Nascar's drug testing policy. 👍 I am a firm believer that there's a few people in the garage area that are using some form of performance enhancement.
While I'm not against the drug policy at all, I ask who do you think is using performance enhancing drugs?
Here's some big news: The New COT for the Nationwide series will not be introduced prior to 2009. It will however test on Monday(assuming it doesn't rain). Yet another one of the rare smart decisions NASCAR makes:tup:
At the same time though, some of the teams do have workout routines and do train alot so I wouldn't point the finger so fast.Possibly some of the pit crew members, tires, floor jacks and gas cans full of racing fuel aren't exactly light and the average guy like you and me can't carry those around with great ease like they can.
Very true. Plus, their alot more things they have done with the traditional car, like racing with rain tyres, Windsheild wipers, Brake light Installation. They have a proven platform that works and only needs minor improvements, not a whole dramatic change suddenly "in the interest of "safety"TSA smart decision would be for NASCAR to not have a COT for the Nationwide series, only evolve some of the safety features from the cup COT to the nationwide series.

(indirect quote) "Thank you for giving me a second-place car. I appreciate that." What an ass Tony Stewart can be.
As for the Kyle Busch whack job, Dale Jr. didn't try to wreck him. It was incidental contact. But still, at least he knows what it feels like when Kyle tags fenders or ruffles a few feathers. People will hate on me just because I don't like certain bad boys of racing. Paul Tracy's my favorite bad boy in racing.
LOL, the video evidence tells me a different story.
Payback's a bitch much?
I guess there was no "high road" as he suggested.
According to ESPNEWS, I read that Ron Hornaday Jr. admitted to steroid use starting in 2004. Hornaday is one of the best in NASCAR. This could be somewhat a case similar to someone of Mark McGwire or Jose Canseco. He's had testosterone cream and HGH according to what I saw on ESPNEWS. I still remember Shane Hmiel's troubles. Think Ron Hornaday Jr. is going to get into any trouble by NASCAR or somebody?
