aaarrrggghhh!!!!

At least Carl Edwards was man enough to admit that he caused the wreak (or at least take the blame), unlike some other drivers... COUGHkarmabuschCOUGH

Wow, can we say, Immature? Oh and again, get over it.

Oh yes, we can say immature. I have never heard Kyle Busch ever take the blame for a wreak or apologize for taking another driver out. No, it's always some other driver's fault or this or that driver is a poor driver. Now that's immature.

So you managed to turn a pile up caused by Edwards into a negative rant about Busch? Edwards wrecking people at a much higher mature level than Kyle sure is a great thing

Oh and again, get over it.

God, dont tell me that he's still hung up over the incident at Richmond with JR?

This is a tough question to ask... who's basically in trouble or out of the championship chase after Talladega?

I would say everyone from 6-7th on back are out as of right now unless they do a miracle.

I'd say Denny Hamlin. he was already down as it is and with that hard hit, I'd say he's no longer in(although I've been wrong before)

Is there a rule somewhere that says I cannot?

I think the guys 7th-12th are out, because with how well the top 3-4 drivers have been running in the chase, it's going to be hard for those guys to make up all those points.

Fanboy suits you better, I'm sure all of us who have posted in this thread have a favorite driver(s). But unlike you, we don't constantly bring up an old incident that involved our favorite driver(s).

Take that asshattery to the NASCAR.com forums please.

Now this is absolutely crazy
Edwards, Harvick get into altercation at LMS garage

Neither of these two really need this. Harvick needs to grow the **** up. He apparently doesn't seem to relise that he wasn't the only one person involved and apparently doesn't appear aware that Edwards took blame.

Harvick was pissed off because Edwards caused a wreck that was 100% avoidable that collected not only collected him, but it collected a lot of good cars too.

And what makes this so stupid is he is the only guy of those involved that actually had the nerve to talk a bunch of stupid trash to the guy who not only admitted it, but apoligized too. I know apoligies don't repair wrecked cars, but neither does childish behavior like that and even worse, its days later after it happened! Surely, he couldn't have any excuse to not getting over it whens its three days removed from the accident. I'm amazed at how people hate Kyle Busch but somehow miss out on Harvick being a complete idiot. I certainly don't recall Kyle doing the name calling everytime he was involved.

Edwards actually started the altercation after Harvick wrote him a little note and gave it put in his airplane after the race. It was Edwards that decided to wait until yesterday to bring it up with Harvick in the garage area, it was Edwards that started the shoving match.

If anybody was being childish about the whole thing, it was Edwards for reacting the way he did and not just letting the situation go away by itself.

Any favorites for Charlotte? What driver has the best chance of rebounding at this stage of the game?

For the nationwide race, Busch looks strong(if this race gets going again) and for cup, Johnson and possibly Gordon.

Seems like this Monday and Tuesday will be the testing of the Nationwide CoT cars at Charlotte. We'll have to keep a close eye on what they look like and how they'll perform as opposed to the Sprint CoTs.

Oh shoot... I'd love for Jeff Gordon to win. This just hasn't been his year, sadly. Perhaps a good thing about the Chase for the Cup is that you still have a chance to make that long stretch run to win the title. Even if completely out of it, you still have at least a small chance.

Engines fired up again for the Nationwide race at Charlotte. Meanwhile, I still have a college football report to type up for the Football forum. Let's see who'll get it done at Charlotte tonight.

That idiot Ricky Stenhouse Jr. wrecked Scott Speed, taken him effectively out of the championship. He just got what he deserved:grumpy:

So Jeff Burton wins at Charlotte and Jeff Gordon admits a missed opportunity (according to an RSS feed I read). I think Dale Jr.'s done with his misfortune at Charlotte.

Not a debate, but a question... do you miss daytime racing at Charlotte? Or is nighttime better for this track and this race?

I think Speed may have taken himself out of that championship, because there was no need for him to piledrive Stenhouse and screw up both their races.

Jeff Gordon's team screwed him out of a great opportunity to win after that 4 tire stop they did under caution while leading when everyone else stayed out.

Word has it that Mika Salo wants to try out NASCAR. How well do you think he'll do? Last I checked, I think Jeff Gordon is the leader. He's the halfway leader. Now, Jimmie Johnson is the leader after cyclcing from a recent caution.

They've mentioned that alot recently. As for how he would do, it depends on how he transitions. Hopefully, they transition him right unlike what they did with Villeneuve and Carpantier and have it done progressively as was done with Montoya, Speed and Dario.

I think Salo would be the first (or one of the first) to make the transition from sports cars to NASCAR if the rumors are true.

Jimmie Johnson wins at Martinsville!

Petty Enterprises to field #44 for 2009. Onwer points will be transffered to the #00. Also, Marcos Ambrose will be in the 47 for the rest of the year.

Yeah, but it isn't like Mika Salo's going from a super-light LMP1 machine to a 3400 lb. stock car (by the way, congrats to Jimmie Johnson for winning at Martinsville). Salo even has F1 experience. He'll be going from one of my hometown sportscar teams to somebody in NASCAR. If Salo has a poor time in NASCAR, then all the "good old boys" crowds will feel even more like transition drivers from sportscar racing and other international series need not be in NASCAR. Salo puts on a great drive for the Risi Competizione Ferrari F430GT, but who's to say he'll put on a great drive in stock cars? I always have faith in drivers. This time, I'm uncertain his shelf life in NASCAR... okay, let's say between Daytona and the final race before the Chase for the Cup begins the year Salo makes his NASCAR debut.

The next round is at one of my personal favorite ovals- Atlanta Motor Speedway. Jimmie Johnson is looking at a three-peat if he continues his stellar drive.

The GT2 car looks to be fairly similar to stock cars considering that the cars weigh about the same and have the same amount of downforce, but the stock cars have nearly twice the power as the GT2 cars so he would have to get used to that.

Well guys, this will be the first Nationwide series race where neither Kyle Busch or Denny Hamlin will drive the Joe Gibbs cars(or the Braun racing #32). Instead Joey Logano will be in the #20 Gamestop Toyota and Nascar Camping World East series Driver Marc Davis will be driving the #18 DLP HDTV Toyota. I'm not sure if Marc is ready, but I hope I'm wrong. Also:

Waltrip makes 1,000th start
