My dad was telling me tonight that there's been a lot of talk on the NASCAR radio shows about the points situation. I think someone should email the above idea to NASCAR and see what they say.

Watkins/Bristol/Darlington, there are already enough tracks like Vegas in the chase with Kansas/Lowe's/Texas. Why add Vegas to that?

Tracks added to the chase... any set of races that include a road course. NASCAR needs road racing for diversity and challenge. That's even if you replace Homestead with Sebring. The Chase NEEDS a road race, speaking as a road racing fan.

As a wrestling fan, I can tell you this is going to be crap, every guest host, except for Bob Barker has been boring, go ahead and watch if you feel, but WWE is doing their best to hold Raw back in my opinion.

I just casually mention Kyle Busch and Joey Lagano, and that's how we got to this. It looks like the NASCAR Truck race at Martinsville is in a rain delay. But it's going to get underway soon. The Nationwide Series will go at it in Memphis.

Brad Kesseloski manages to sweep the "Dash 4 Cash" challenge by winning at Memphis, That is gonna be a crapload on money. Also, Timothy Peters manages to get his first win at Martinsville, nothing like getting your first win at your home track.

Looking at the point standings at the end of the race made me sick. Anyone past 4th place doesn't even have a shot anymore unless something BIG happens, which probably won't.

NASCAR needs to re-think this Chase system. Made to create excitement at the end of the season, and it's doing just the opposite IMO.

If something does not happen to Jimmie at Dega, then I'll agree. Until, we won't know for certain until that race is over.

They call it The Big One, it is a yearly accurance at a NASCAR track called Talledega and that just happens to be the next race in the Chase.

And that guarantee, you heard it here first, some if not several of the chasers will be involved in a big pile-up at Talledega

I don't want to be a furry animal! Then again, it would be kind of cool, actually. Anyhow, Talladega is going to really determine who's for real and who'll have to wait until next season. I saw most of the 2nd half of the Martinsville race as I was alternating between watching the NFL and some of the World Superbike and MotoGP racing action. But I did see Denny Hamlin beat out the other drivers to the finish line.
